I agree...I mean its not often that a country gains independence against an extremely strong country by themselves. Its like the celtics trying to gain their independence...It worked for a while until rome actually began to care. But I think the point was we were actually able to take on britain and win against a section of their navy, even if it was only a few ships...We still stood up to britain and won.
