1) Start Eve
2) Open Eve In Game Browser - I think its about 5th icon up from bottom on left.
3) Copy and Paste this URL into In-Game browser address bar: http://big.wayland.dk/LotteryReceipt.asp

I hope there is a great deal of hurrah for the winner(s) of this and the next lottery. It will be quite an event.
Also, I couldn't find a page on the BIG Games, website listing winners. It would be nice to see what the prize was for each lottery in the past and the name of the player who one (unless they choose a low profile). It would both tantalize us gamblers and give a sense of security.
While splitting up the monetary lottery would be nice... How cool would it be to be a multi-billionare in EVE!!!!

Since the ISK pot is arguably worth more than the Apoc itself why not have it only available for people who send +1 mil to the Apoc drawing?, this would perhaps give a better chance to advanced players while eriching the pot.

that may be a good idea but its a bit late @ this stage to go chaning the rules after so many have paid up.

isn't there a way to automate this thing hand work by extracting it from the client side cache?
me thinks that it could be usefull player info if someone can get the transactios in the wallet in a offline form to, eg like the current game logs for combat/chat.

You know, as much as I would like to say, split up the lottery so there is more chance of me winning, I think the pay out of 1.5+ Billion isk to one person would just be awe inspiring.
Imagine how they would feel, and on top of that, you set the bar for a lottery prize (although the downside is that it is unlikely you would exceed that pay-out until you raffle out another unique item.
At any rate, this is going to be good.

Nothing personal here but, from what I observed in the last lottery, tickets are picked by numbers etc and this guy has 2000 tickets actually listed as if you look at before and after there is 2k of numbers. So this would mean when we do drawing so far everyone after him is off by 1000. Might be worthwhile to get it fixed before hand rather then after.

I'm currently halfway (or so) getting the code updated for that page - so that ppl (and there are several) with more than 1000 tickets dont get their 1000+ tickets entered into the drawing for the imp apoc.
But - So little time and so much to do...
That particular list is at the bottom of my ToDo-list, as its not needed until the drawing on the 24th.

Still think its kinda said that the same ship where the rightfull heirs have fought for in the tournament is now being handed to a total stranger without him having to do anything for it. Couldnt you at least think up a name for any other ship?

Corporate Raven has a nice sound to it. perhaps 6 turrets or even 7-8 missile slots, bigger shield, more powergrid/cpu, bigger cap. The skin would have to be the same dark-yellow lighted as the caldari navy MOA's unlike the usual siler/brown-blue lighted skin

Should you not already have noticed - The DB is now up to date.
Meaning you can now all check for your receipts
Also expect updates to be done (at least) once per day as usual now.
(Still havent had time to update the code to filter out purchases above 1000 tickets - But I have until the 24th to get that done )

My suggestion for the huge pot (and growing) is to have multiple drawings on that day, in 100 million increments. In other words, they do the regular random number generator, and that ticket holder gets 100 mil. They then do it again, and another ticket holder (or possibly the same person again) wins another 100 mil. And so on and so forth. This way we have a large pot, but lots of people get to win. This still favors people who bought more then the 1,000 tickets, as they have a better chance of getting a second or third 100 mil.

I'd agree with the split pot that be great. More people win the happier people are. Then again who wouldn't be happy to win that 2bil pot
100, 150, 200, or a 250mil split pot would be grand (just a suggested ammount)

Just to clarify, if we assume the pot to be 1.5 billion, and 100 million increments, then there could be up to 15 different winners of 100 million each. If someone was very lucky or bought a lot of tickets, they could still end up w/ the whole 1.5 billion jackpot.

It's going to be a hell of a lot more than 1.5 billion though, if there are 2700 entrants right now like TornSoul said, there's 2.7 billion in the pot, and that's still gonna keep rising till the draw starts. If we did it in 100 million stages there'd be loads of winners, probably a bit too many...
maybe we could have 1st prize as the Apoc and 1 billion, 2nd prize 500 million, 3rd prize 250 million and 100 million for the remaining winners...

Errmmm, lotteries aren't all or nothing actually. The National lottery gives out prizes to people who don't get all 6 numbers, for example get three numbers and you get ú10, get 4 and you get about ú500 or something, and so on...

and i think youll get a lot more happier people if you give out multiple smaller spizes (maybe start at 250mil, and increase by 250mill for each one? so 250, 500, 750, 1bill, 1.25 bill, etc as far as you can, then when you cant increase the next one by 250million, just add whats left to the current one. This way you get multiple happy people, AND still get a big prize winner.)
