Gonna enter, though, I'd either fight in it, or give it to PIE. No way I'd sell it, or leave it sitting in my hanger doing nothing (looks in the direction of the MASS guys)

If you read the rules there is an explenation. Only 1000 tickets is entered for the BS draw. And 2000 tickets is entered for the ISK draw if he sent 2m

Ok the imperial Apoc is not really that good...b4 u think WT* is he talking about let me explain
20 radar str?? big deal most scorpion run 5 multispecs so if u got 1 rad or 20 radar makes little diffrence yoru still going to be flying an limp noodle.
4500 sheilds?? Raven is still better
extra 50 cpu?? well big woopdy doo its not going to make a huge diffrence
Laser??? still worse then hybrids and projectile
only 2 good things about this silver piece of junk .
1. 8 low slots...even i have to bow down to this.
2. Uber armour.
Bottom line??
1 V 1 against a scorp with 5 multispecs 1 mwd 2 warp disruptors = dead imperial apoc which is the same as about 60mil isk vs about 1 billion isk for the estimated price of the imp apoc.
make up your own mind ladies and gentlemen.

Yawn shows how much you know about pvp, you dont enter pvp with backup arrays and warp core stabs nor assume your enemy does. 1 back up array and 2 stabs should fubrar the 5 multispec setup...
Also a scorp cant even deal enough dmg to kill it if it uses it last 6 low slots for armor tanking/relays...

I am in VOTF and PvP everynight so lets just clear up your opinion of weather i know anything about pvp or not.
No most ppl dont use warp core stabilizers in ballte b/c they are a waste of low sots b/c u usualy get tackeld by multiple frigates making anything less then 3-4 warp core stabs in your low slots usless. I Know this b/c i love tackling and have caught many battleships and held them up long enough for the rest of the CA ganksquad to warp to me to take them down.
Most people dont use backup arrays either b/c alot of scorp pilots favour dampners so once again its a waste of low slots.
You are correct though in saying that perhaps the scorpion wont be able to dish out enough dmg to take down the apoc but it goes for any APoc it doesnt need to be the imperial apoc its kind of a stale mate at best and if this is the best that the Ammarians can do against a tier 1 battleships then its pretty weak.
most pilots go for cirtain setups in there low slots
either full damage modifications like 3-4 gyro2's mag vortex 2's and a couple power cap relays or just fill your low slots with 7 power relays for sheild tanking with cap recharge.
Perhaps u may correct me but these are my observations in PvP.

No that is not a requirement. We have all the participating citizens names and the ticket numbers they entered with.
We do however encourage everyone playing to show up for the drawing, as the drawing itself involves participation from the people who attend in the in-game channel "BIG Games".
And it's great fun too  . TornSoul usually has a few jokes up his sleeve to lighting the sometimes intense excitement with

Well, BIG has given permission for DUI to do whatever we want with the Apocalypse if we win, so if we do, DUI will be giving out the Apocalypse as 1st prize in a future DUI race.
So don't give up hope if I win the draw, you can possiby still win it... :-)

Why did you need permission? Once you win it you can do whatever you'd like, toilet paper, paper weight, you could even learn to fit an Apoc properly and kick some ass with it (I do hope it gets used).

an extra 50 cpu is a godsend. So are the extra 4 points for RADAR. That's like an extra low slot for pvp. And of course, the armor bonus is gravy. Seems like a damn fine pvp ship to me.

the way it works is approximately this:
everyone is assigned a bunch of numbers, based on how many tickets they bought. so i might have number 5000 to 6000 out of say 100,000 tickets sold. a random number is also used, not sure how big this one can be, but id guess from about 50-100, call this number x - people are not told this number. Then the people in the BIG games channel each say a number, between about 10k and 100k. the first x of these numbers yelled out are added together. say we get 605346 as our number. the tickets are then counted through, going back to the beggineing when it reaches the end. effectively, you realise that 100k fitts into 605346 6 times, and decrease it to 5346. Then you see who has ticket number 5346, and they win.
thats a long way of putting it, but i felt an example might be a good idea, since we're going to have a lot of people who havent played hte lottery before taking part in this one :)

seriously, i think you should consider splitting it up and having multiple winners for the following draw (on the 8th of june or whatever). Would make for a lot more happy people. i mean really, is someone who wins 1.5 bill off you gonna be 6 times as grateful and happy as someone who won 250mill or so??
remember, its only going to get bigger. might easily be up to 5bill or more by the time the 8th june comes along.... is it worth giving all of that to one player??
