Isn't there a lot more episodes left? What are they gonna do for those last few episodes, explore radioactive ruins and stuff? The only cool thing about old BSG was that it eventually got to earth and met earthlings and got up to earthly hijinks?
I hope it doesn't turn out to be some cyclical mumbo jumbo, where it turns out the BSG crew are the ancestors of modern men or something.

The planet probably is Earth, since Gaeta confirms the constellations match after the jump, but yeah, sucks. I hope they don't pull some **** like the survivors being the ancestors of modern man in the final episodes, that'd suck. Also, cylons can't ressurect anymore, right? Shoulda killed them all and be done with it, wtf?

You might be right, Roslin is still alive after all, remember the prohecy said that the leader of their people would not live to see their people enter the promised land. They found a planet, maybe even earth, but they might not be meant to colonize that area of the planet to begin with. Of course, the leader could also be Lee (wouldnt that be a twist worthy of Shyamalan). -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:

Yeah. To be continued in 2009. Now I have to go see the first three seasons over and over and over again like I did at the end of the third

I've just thought of a hilarious possibility. What if they've somehow managed to get turned around, and they are in fact back on Caprica? The viper pointed them there because it detected that same beacon that Athena and Helo tracked down in the first season. __________________________

BSG is such a depressing show, that I predicted something like this years ago. Its a very depressing pointless ending.
However I do really hope this isn't the ending.

I bet they did it to themselves. Hopefully the 13th tribe is hiding in the vaults (vault 13 specifically).
Wouldn't that be a twist.

Being chased by a fleet of runaway robots, preferably.
"Hey guys, my genocidal robots are way tougher than your genocidal robots..."
In all seriousness, I liked that episode. Great twist, but I'm really wondering where they're gonna go with it now. I've been kinda predicting a "ancestors of modern man" finale since the beginning, so I wouldn't be overly disappointed with that, although I'd prefer something I haven't thought of. Fact is, a really awesome series is a difficult thing to end well, and I'm very interested to see how they do it. ------

Well, they still have to find out who the final cylon is. __________________________
