I suspect this request is futile but its worth a try.
Way way back on 20-5-06 around 1:30am in EC-P8R I believe Djenghis Jan lost an Aeon to ISSN forces. Unfortunately the ISS killboard has been replaced and scrapped since that time and I was hoping someone somewhere had a copy of the killmail they could forward me (my corp were ISS members at the time and I believe a corp member may have been on the mail).
Attempts to contact Djenghis have failed as has searches of killboards

Helen was indeed the first, ISS/LV killed an IAC mothership the same day or the day after Helen was downed. But it was in C3-, not EC-P, and definetly not in may.

Thanks but no, it was definately an Aeon in EC as I have 2 screenshots of it at the time.
It becoming clear that the Aeon wasn't destroyed (at least not by ISS in EC), which clears up why I havent been able to find a mail for it
Thanks all.

o7 old corp and alliance mates! no aeon were we ever in on that i can remember. there was the nyx in qrbn that was stated and then we helped with another iac nyx and some other caps in f4r before bob turned on us.
i've got many screenshots of both encounters if anyone wants. fun times, regardless of how things turned out.

I've created a killboard for my friends to use which is independant of the corps we are/have been in (as over the years we've all been in several corps and a few alliances) so we all have a central place to track our losses/kills. I'm just trying to backtrack and get it as accurate as possible (difficult since the original ISS one was members only and doesn't exist anymore, but a good example of why we wanted to create this killboard).
One of my friends seemed to remember participating in an Aeon kill in EC while we were in ISS, that he saw an Aeon in EC is not in doubt as I have the screen shots, the issue is/was if the Aeon was subsequently destroyed. It would appear he was incorrect.

By 'we' you mean that ISSN had absolutely nothing to do with that kill.
Well, it was ISS who setup that kill. Then LV finished it off by deploying caps and, a little before that, sending a heavy support fleet towards it to assist the capitals after deployment. The support fleets met a few systems away from the Nyx, I lost my blasterthron there warping back into the field right after the FC called for retreat. I'm not sure if the hostile support fleet was aware of that mom, but i know we were. -- .sig apathy ftw |

indeed. and this was after iac kept coming up to c3- to harass us while kos hid behind their pos shields until we couldn't hold out anymore. almost every time we'd spank them and they'd return with goons and friends to zerg us.
they never expected us to bring in that force, and just kept jumping up to harass us. that was the 3rd mom ever killed, right?

we should all get together sometime for old times sake and take a frigate gang through catch, causing as much havoc as possible. we can make BD lead the gang, since thats one of the only times i remember him not being ****ed off at someone/something.

i was thinking more for fun than any actually success at anything. with all our extra SPs since then, we might make it 6 jumps instead of 4.
in the tradition of post EC-P8R days ISS, i don't actually expect anything to happen. was just a fun thought for a fleeting moment. besides, we'd need a count around to lose a couple motherships in order for it to feel realistic.

By 'ISS who setup that kill' you mean my cov ops alt getting a warp in and other members of my corp at that time (Pyrrhus Sicarri) dictor bubbling (Lister Black) the Nyx and lighting the sacraficial cyno (VinceNoir) allowing LV's caps to come in and melt the Nyx, then yes you are correct.
I think there was one other ISS guy helping to dictor, the first ISS guy we sent failed horribly so I waited until I had one of my guys to do it right before making the second and successful attempt.
ISSN and their top command had long ****ed off when this kill happened. We were just in the area to try to grief IAC and get some easy kills, which we accomplished.
Thanks to Count Ta****bag falsifying most of the events of that day trying to take credit where none was due, few people remember what really happened. |

I'm not one to remember all the politics going on at the time, I knew there were locals in the system with the target who alerted and enabled LV forces to take that mom out. Keeping the mom locked down is no small feat even if you're lighting a cyno up at almost the same time, so whoever did it, was an important part of that kill. Whether that was ISS pilots, or Pyrrhus Sicarri (wasn't that ex-ISS?) I don't know.
Don't be to hard on Count though, me and many others told him before the start of ISS that it wasn't going to survive among the territorial alliances and yet he managed to make it work for a lot longer then many expected. -- .sig apathy ftw |
