Ok well, as many know i am a scammer, and i have gotten bored doing it, and walking away with over 15 billion isk. and here i will shed some light on some of the funniest parts of my
tale. only the really stupid ones you will laugh.
My scam: Selling shares that are worth nothing at 100k a piece. and offering ships that will not come, and you must pre-pay.
#1:(my best story you will laugh so hard, dont try drinking anything while reading this one)
Starts out as a normal scam, the guy hands over 200mil as *starters* i send him the shares, i tell him i make him a deal for the 3 battleships he said he had. i said i will pay 10mil a day for his raven to rent it, hes reluctant but i persaude him and we do the transaction. i then persaude him to send me another 150mil for discounts on my ships i make. he now says hes broke. i tell him i will rent his scorpion at 15mil a day he does it.
I then tell him, for your cooperation as a parting gift (hint "parting") i will rig his rokh for him, his scorp and raven came fully rigged. i tell him to give me the rokh and i will fly to jita and rig it for him and return within 20 mins. he does it, he now has 0 isk and no ships, minus the 25mil i gave him for renting. in that 20mins i managed to scam another person for a small 300mil. he gets all freaked out and i log.
#2: I tell the guy he will get a carrier at 1billion isk fully fitted and with fighters. after 24hours of talking with the guy, he finally agrees (it was worth it) it took about 2 hours of talking the first day, and finally persauding him the next. he send over 750mil for starters and will pay the rest later. he then has a friend who wants a rokh, i say ok, he send 129mil to me for the rokh. 2 weeks later i confess and i tell him a scammer i then block him.
#3 this is also a very funny one and my last one. i make a contract for one moa, telling him i will sell him 100 moa's at 3mil a pop, i make contract for 1 moa. he says
"but it only says 1 moa are you trying to scam me?" i say it says 300 to me one sec i will take a screenie for you.
so i took a screenie, and after 10mins of getting the photoshop work right, i paste it on photobucket and he accepts the contract. he says, it only gave me 1 moa! i say, hmmmmmm ok for the trouble come to Umokka, i will give you another 100 at same price, so he send over 300mil without contracting, and then i logged. this is after he sent 500mil worth of shares also.
Anyhow i am terminating this character, farewell hope you enjoyed my stories, many similar as well, you may call me a dirty scammer, but i only scam the isk buyers and by these stories you can tell that is the truth.
With over 15 billion isk and more in assets, i bid my farewell.

A fool and their money are soon parted, some guy had negative debt and asked me to hold stuff for him to transfer to his new character, whilst tempted to log after accepting, had given my word and apparently he owes me :)
Can understand handing over 1 ship, but several all at once plus lots of isk :)

Wow, impressive scamming. I'm new to this game so I love to hear how people have made their fortunes (be it hard graft or messing with peeps). Obviously you've got some well practiced banter and would prolly make one hell of a car salesman :D .
Good read, made me laugh hard. One thing though, if you are retiring then what are ya gunna do with all that sweet sweet money. I'd suggest giving some of it to Le Sabre, I hear he needs it

Unfortunatley me being a scammer detects a newb scammer....lol jk i dont have 15bil on me still i spent it on stuff, such as game cards, faction battleships for a b-day present to my cousin all sorts of stuff, i stand at about 3bil, with over 50 ships.

I remember you! You were pumping a ship making IPO in a system I was moving through and had tons of ships for sale in your bio, "discounts for battleship orders in quantity" or something like that.
My BS-Sensor must have been lagged by brackets because it took a few seconds in personal convo before I began to think that you were totally full of it. Good to hear you grabbed some others and made a nice profit though.

I figured it was a scam when you were paying out 0 isk on dividends. Like anything else in eve the million isk I invested was a gamble, no risk no fun. I Guess I'll just have to fart in a level 1 mission or something to make that back.
Anyway congrats on all your isk, I hope it will go to a good and proper cause, meaning PvP ships and not just sit idle in an account when you get bored.

As far as I'm concerned, scamming (at least the kinds sanctioned by CCP) is just another form of PvP.
My favorite scams are the ones where the victim thinks they're taking advantage of the scammer right up until the end. This is the one and only scam that I fell victim to because it appealed to my baser nature. The lesson I learned is that in EvE if something seems too good to be true, not only is it probably too good to be true but it's even better for the person on the other end of the deal. Fortunately for me, this lesson wasn't horribly expensive (only about 150mil loss), but it will be a lesson that I'll never forget.

If they even had the balls to not use a disposable alt or not block their victims then that would be something.
It's not really that big or clever.
A lot of the rest of us could make billions scamming too just that even in a game it's difficult to let go of certain aspects of your morality.
Whereas PvP feels simply like a case of alls fair in love and war, I would feel tainted and degraded by such dirty ill gotten isk.
Still it's hard to feel sorry for such Idiots I must admit. |

Its not the scammed I feel sorry for, its the scammers that I feel sorry for. At the end of the day it amounts to them just being leeches in our community. They don't work for any bit of their isk, they just use an alt and then transfer the money to their main, whom is most likely a pvper, and most likely a sucky one at that cause he dies more then he kills (hense the need to scam people!)
It wouldn't be so bad if alts were not so freely and ready for anyone to abuse. Personally I think that the one problem with eve, is not the scammers or mission ninjas, or any of that stuff.. its the fact that everyone and their dog has an alt for EVERYTHING.
I think eve would be a much better place if say you had to pay isk for character slots or something... that would be kewl...
Though then you would just have people making a billion trial accounts
