Nah, I'd bet that the Necro is dropped, seeing as the Witch Doctor seems to have exactly the same specialities (poisons + undead). Shame (loved the Necro), but probably true, and no big tragedy. You've also got to bear in mind there are no "classic" Diablo classes- there have only been two games, and they both had entirely different classes. Plenty of people ***ed when D2 was released about the lack of a proper Rogue, but it didn't stop them switching it for the Amazon. They've already got the Barbarian and their Summoner in, so we can expect to see a main magic user and a ranged fighter in if nothing else, with probably a team-buff class (a la the Paladin) to join them. And for the people whining about the colours and the game not being dark: we've only seen one area that seems to be a sewer-like dungeon (hence the blue/green lightning and atmosphere) and somekind of a forest with a bit of jungleish vibe, and that certainly isn't the darkest place in the game. Oh, and diablo 1 was a lot darker and gloomier than 2, why didn't you whine back then? I don't really care about the graphics as long as they work and the gameplay is great. But the Warrior didn't look anything like the Barbarian. They didn't share any of the same moves, character design points, or basic attributes. The Warrior couldn't launch himself through the air or dual-wield, and the Barbarian couldn't shoot thunderbolts at enemies. Same goes for the Amazon and Sorceress, not to mention the other 4- they don't look like, act like, or play like the same classes as were in D1.
