Now seriously. He did ask what's YOUR best pirate ship rather then the best so it could be worse. Two of my favorites are the Hurricane and the Huginn.
The Cane deals an ubsurd amount of damage with a proper fit. I check my amo usage after fights and most cruisers don't make it past 10 seconds. Even heavy tank battlecruisers tend to die really fast. Name me another Battlecruiser that can deal 700+, 800+ overloaded, with a 1600mm plate and 2 EANMs. No, it doesn't require perfect skills to do that either. Final cost is about 40 mil after insurance.
Sure the Huginn may lack the shear powerhouse abillity of the Cane but it's abillity to vaporize small armies of ceptors in unparelled. The combination of webifier range top speed and decent buffer, for a nanoship, makes the huginn an extremely difficult vessel kill. Costs a several times more then a Cane considering even a cheap setup will set you back at least 150 million isk.

I'm starting to really like heavy interdictors. Long range tackle, can sentry tank, and some acceptable damage output.
For bonus points, sensor boost and bring friends.

I usually prefer to do my calculations by hand, but i'll put this one into EFT just so you can't argue. I'll use my current skills which aren't all at V.

700 DPS. 1600mm RT plate. This is with my current skills which aren't perfect and it requires a 1% PG implant, 375 LP 375k isk, to fit. It's almost entirely passive so the cap loss from Hail M doesn't matter. Also don't bother mentioning crap with tracking with Hail M amo. Cruisers never stand a chance and anything bigger gives no real tracking issues anyways.
