You confirmed the validity of my accusations of Issler defending RMT - there is more /real/ evidence that Mittens is anti-RMT than otherwise. A bunch of pubbies bleating on the forums doesn't quite count as evidence.

My girlfriend just got a good chuckle out of this. To quote her:

If Mittens becomes chairman it's an indictment of the stupidity of Goonsheep to vote as ordered. "Vote for ze party or you vill be shot and hung on ze vire as a varning to ze others!" Mittens claims credit for things that any CSM would have got good results with. Being chairman during the time that CCP had to go on bended knee to its playerbase and act humble was lucky for him, not caused by him. He might act like he whipped CCP into shape with what the players wanted, but truthfully CCP had to act humble after the Nex debacle. Whoever was on the CSM, the same thing would have happened.
I think it's very telling that Goonsmear are putting so much effort into dissing Issler. And very telling that Goons are pretty much the only people coming into the Issler threads to slag her off. I don't see everyone else in Eve complaining about her. I see a heck of a lot of hisec players talking about how she's got their vote.

I still remember the first time I watched this video and thought to myself that here was CCP, making an apology to the EvE community, in a video with one of the biggest megalomanic dicks EvE Online has to offer (I don't hold it against CCP persay, he was the chairman of the CSM after all).

Its about normal for the fear based views of Goonsheep. You fear other peoples views and have to shout at them. To be honest on the point of other people thinking for themselves I'm not sure if it's fear or jealousy because you are not allowed to in Goonswarm.

Edit: Okay, now that dog fort has approved my posting nobody in goons will actually look at it again so here's what I couldn't tell you:

1. The Mittani hates WiS because it greatly increases the chances of Goons interacting with players outside GoonSwarm.
2. We aren't allowed to do industry at all because The Mittani gets a cut of all imports from Jita.
3. Our API is checked regularly to see if we've trained Trade skills. We're kicked if we've trained them but haven't been given permission to use the markets.
4. Hisec is where the most players are, which is why The Mittani doesn't want us to go there (see #1) or wants us to be so hated and feared that no one will talk to us if we do.

Actually I think it's more like Goonswarm don't want Wis because they are worried that no one will talk to them and they are in a lot of trouble if there is a /spit emote.

Being a Goon must be like being a leper, you can hang out with other lepers but no one else wants to be near you. Must be why I haven't heard of any surprise attacks by the goons on other null sec guys recently. They can hear the bells.
