next Castor patch in 2 weeks.... can we get an agent update please.

New Tech 2 BPO to be seeded i recal a post earlier this week where Papa said he had asked the game design for some new BPO's to seed to the RD agents, it was commented these will come in the next patch ? is this still the case ? New senario missions was metnioned there are some new senario missions that will be worth undertaking... Fix for combat agents and implants yes well we all know whats going on here. im sure other people may have agent issues that relate to them, which i am un-aware of, please post said question. to the fanboys.... lads we all play the game becasue we like it so. we are all being very patient and are aware of the much heavy work load required for the game. so there is no need to point this out each time some one asked for an update. im sure you all want to know whats going on as much as us moaning old gits. to PapaS we know yer busy Papa's and im sure that us agent runners constant wiegh upon yer mind,demanding bunch for sure. but if you can spend 5 minuits ansering some question or posting a dev blog, im sure the many agents runners would be higly appriciative. Now we see on the official site that the patch is not next week but two weeks away. Pleae give us something to ease the pain of torture that our agents are giving us. Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post.

Info allready given ? if you have any info given by Papa's relating to the above topics then please do post/quote/link etc.if PapaS has allready posted this info then no point him posting it again. from where im sitting the problem is there has been no info posted. there has be no dev blogs. there has been the very rare HINT or snippet of info, which soon gets ignored or disregarded as and when it suits ccp. sorry if im sounding a bit narkey...but its the same old thing...you make a post in good faith.. u hope that it will lead to meaningfull conversation which will benifit many players. u pray for some concise and correct information from ccp.... at the end of the day the best you can hope for is a discussion purely between the players, which is no more than conjecture and opinions/theories. at worst it degenerates to a monsta flamefest. am i being un-reasonable ? a lot of us have been doing the same crap day in and day out for months and months and months, all the time being fed snippets of info about how much work is going on..what super developments are planned. but yet the patchs come and go and its still the same old crap...atleast if we had regular updates of how things are progressing it might be a start. give us an effing break allready. Dray	Posted - 2004.06.02 10:53:00 - [27] I cant see any excuse for information not being given to us, as ive pointed out on the apology for the shiva release info coming up on a third rate games website before we heard about it, information is crucial, in eve bad news isnt very pleasant, but no news is unacceptable and imho the cause of most of the bad opinions players have of the devs and ccp in general, the trouble is you dont know how much is taken on board before the fanboys bombard the threads with the inevitable "OMFG ccp your so leet" or "stfu whiners they are doing a great job" i have said before i really appreciate the job that ccp do and i also accept thats its not easy, but my point is and has always been that not giving information out even if its not what we want to hear is far better than saying nothing and letting the player base form opinions based on trying to second guess the reasons behind delays and problems. As for the agents i guess it will be "done when its done" and "soonÖ" I picked up this ace book today everyone rates it as a must buy for the budding military genius, tho ive decided to rename it as "Sun Tzu's art of the bloody obvious"

PLEASE give me a break!!!! ok, im not 12, nor do i want a headstart, i know eve is a game. what i want if information to help me play the game, and if you took the time to read some of the devblogs/forum threads then you will know there is a lot of confusion about aspects of the game, when they will be implemented, if they are implemented, the simple fact is people are confused and as far as i can see they dont want to be confused, learning how to play a game is one thing, but what if your unsure of the actual content, how do you learn about that? the answer is simple you come to the forums and ask questions, or u read blogs, and that is how you learn, i cant see how it is possible to find the answers in the game if the answers arent there. What if we were miners.....and refining ore gave no minerals, What if we were rat hunters.....and no bounty or loot was given, What if we were pirates....and weapons did no damage, What if we were builders....and production runs consumed ore but produced no goods, What if we were scientists....and no research points, etc, etc, etc. The fact is that agent missions are an aspect of the game that is a primary role for many people. To let it be broke this long is IMHO a blatant slap in the face to a percentage of the playerbase. This should have been repaired as a break/fix scenario and not a wait till a wrapped up patch. I do not want everything. I will work for the skills needed for what I want to do. I don't even mind if i have to work harder for the implants, but I do want something that is obviously broken to be fixed. I am after all paying for a service and have a right to demand action if that service is not being rendered. Think about the examples above, imagine the outcry if all that were true. Agent runners may not be the largest percentage of playerbase, but we have just as much right as miners, fighters, builders, etc, to have a functional role.
