The basics are actually incredibly easy to learn. I d/l it a week or so (before my time got stolen by exams and Xetic war). If you look up you'll see my desktop. Thats the first attempt I've had a desktopX, its only the basic stuff, not had a chance to do anything with reskinning windows etc. Only took about 2 hours from start to finish, no tutorials. If you d/l similar things that you want from wincustomize.com you can take a look at the objects themselves to see how its done, deconstruct them and use the knowledge to construct your own.
There is a pdf tutorial/user manual, but it didnt seem that useful, so I haven't read it
When the exams are over hopefully I'll be able to have a crach at some of the more complex things.

I know. Trust me.
However, last time I tried enabling it, it caused EVE to consistently crash or freeze my pc. So until I figure out where the problem with it is, it stays off.
And as I am lazy, and easily convert to whatever works...

His desktop is nothing compared to my desktop... can't show it though - I don't want to show my icons, and posting a picture with a black box taking up 95% of it doesn't seem like a good idea...
