Would there be intrest to join in corporation wich would dedicate on killing those haulers in Ingunn?
And where ever they move, it would follow them.
Btw, CCP really must remove ICE from high sec OR block China from this game - totally.

It's really not that much (2%) so you can quit being so cynical.
5000 farmer accounts playing 23/7 = 805,000 played hours a week
250,000 normal accounts playing 20 hours a week each = 5,000,000 played hours a week
23/7 Farmer's account for approx 14% of played game time but only 2% of CCP income. As the above poster and others say it isn't about the money CCP make - its about how the game would change without them.

A passive drake with each resist, a LSE will pretty much perma-tank with decent skills and maybe a rig or two if you need it.
Even an un-rigged Moa will give you about 2 minutes of sentry tanking, which is more than enough time to pop a few haulers Don't forget your warp scrammer ---

I'm still fiddling around with different ships still. I'm trying to find something that can quickly and effectively yoink any ship within 17km or less of a stargate, while sitting 0km of the gate, but capable of permatanking sentries at the same time, and hopefully insta-popping haulers within the first or second volley. Ship also needs to be able to lock relatively fast - I kinda figured these guys are bots, no point in fitting a point, just get a sensor booster and a large enough volley to one-shot them. Basically, a macro killing machine.
The biggest threat obviously would be other players causing you problems - common sense and being aware is the only real defense against that, or have a team of buddies around to watch your back. Would rather dock up and grab a more suitable ship to fight a actively present player, then use a tanked out ship designed for sitting on a gate killing bots.
Found a fit already for a nighthawk that meets half of the criteria, though the same could probably be achieved on a much cheaper drake. I'm not fully content with the scan resolution and maneuverability though :( 390mm scan res, 10.6s align time - not quite as good as I would like for this kinda thing. ____________________

I saw and reported a large number of noob ships from a noob corp running from station to station in my local system, back and forth through the gate and so on. They were all from the same corp, the same gallente noob ships and the same age, about 20 of them. After watching them for some time, I noticed absolutely no deviation in their actions, no change in their course, from station 1 to station 2 to station 1 in the system next door and then back into my local system to station 1 again like clockwork, in fact, you could set a watch by them. Always to Kaalakiota corp stations and I noticed that both stations in my local system has lvl1 agents with a reasonable quality and a fair quality lvl1 agent next door, all 3 agents gave courier missions.
Nothing was done about it because they were probably being overseen by someone running the macros who could respond to CCP if they contacted the characters. They worked my local system for over two weeks and then moved on, probably to a lvl2 agent in another system.

Too bad "almost everyone" doesn't seem to include CCP.
CCP knows all about it, and encourages people who live in that particular part of Heimatar to petition individuals you suspect are isk farming.
The reality of the situation is CCP has very few options here. They can't simply totally nerf hauling missions, because people run these legitimately and they can't blanket ban people they see in local either.
An investigation would have to involve checking out each individual character, and with over 200 in Ingunn at any one time... you do the math as to the resources it would involve.
That and there is always the fact that those 300 people you want banned in Ingunn represents $4500 a month for CCP.

Originally by: Loyal Servant 1. There is a LOT of money by having 5,000+ farmer accounts on at once. They pay - point blank.
2. CCP will never get rid of farmers because they pad the numbers. If statistics took into account the REAL eve playerbase it would be much lower than CCP would want to admit.
3. their isk transactions done via the market, which CCP won't reverse are very safe.
4. CCP continue to nerf players and boost farmers because this segment of the cancer in eve is a very large powerbase, larger than the largest alliances in eve at the moment... so they have a lot of pull.
5. Waiting for CCP to do something that will effect their bottom line? Your going to wait a really long time.

I wonder if any part of their route goes through lowsec...
While this batch does not, there is another farmer over in Genesis that does go through low sec. On a good day the space around the gate is littered with Bestower wreaks.. but they just keep coming. |

I have to agree that that the amount of money CCP makes of the subscriptions to bot accounts is the only reason it is allowed. Sure CCP can always point and say we pull ISK from the occasional buyers account that we read about on the forums so we clearly take RMT seriously.
Now how many transactions are done through contracts as a cover? Or how hard is it for the ISK buyer to put a item on the market for some silly high price that only the ISK seller will then pay to complete the transaction leaving next to no logs for us players to look at and say something isn't right. It just seems way to easy to ôlaunderö your ISK transactions.
Those of you saying the game couldn't cope with a ban on the bots due to the impact it would have on base materials don't seem to be thinking things through. CCP could make changes to fuel consumption, mining yield, and the amount of minerals needed to build items until balance is restored. And who knows faction goods and implants may even return to the prices intended by CCP.
Also the bot accounts aren't just operating in high sec. They can be found all over low sec space too. I know of a rather large group that operates near Baratar, I forget the system they call home at the moment. But if you hang out in Baratar you can follow the trail of bread crumbs to the source. But be warned the numbers are large enough to trash your sec status in no time flat. Oh and like someone else pointed out these guys will spawn portly and half fit battleships if you harass them long enough. A little tip for any of you who decide to go mess with them. Ignore the first battleship they bring in and engage you with once the others arrive. It has been my experience that only the initial battleship will be fitting anything resembling a tank.
Anyway I for one would like to see CCP actually do something about the bot accounts and not just take ISK from the ISK buyers they catch. Mostly because the current tactics do nothing to stop players from operating bot accounts to pad personal, corp, or alliance wallets directly. The assumption that all these bots are being operated by Chinese farmers to make real world money is as bad as the assumption the game would fall apart if they were removed.

unless you have proof they're macros and not just sitting really bored at a computer with 8 accounts, they're not breaking the eula. a person is allowed to mine rocks or fly missions 16 hours a day, even if they get a salary IRL for it.
are we clear, morons?
great.
the things they're not allowed to do are: sell isk for real life money, and use macros. so unless you have PROOF (note "PROOF" and not "very reasonable belief") then frankly just gfy and stop posting.

Aaah, Ingunn! Now I know why the map often shows that big red spot there. A year ago or so I was running missions in Ingunn: 6 L4Q20 courier division agents in the system, quite nice to chain multiple courier missions. It was very quiet and almost empty at that time. The macro haulers had focussed on Loes until the number of L4Q20 agents in this system were reduced to one. I guess what will happen with the agents in Ingunn in the near future...
