When i started, there was no HEAT, less ships, no API key (i think so about that!). There where no scripts (tracking comps and sensor booster ruled...), and i lived enough to see the previous nano-nerf (nanofibers were giving both speed and mass reduction!)AAh, there where no rigs either. I also witness the HP buff... (+25% to +50% to all ships). Capitals where very rare also. I think titans didnt existed, but i was too noob to understand what was going on with cap warfare. I ve heard there were times when you could fit multiple MWDs, or times that there wasnt the tracking attribute in use! Can we learn more about that...?

Blue meant good standing to you, "pink" is actualy purple, and means player is in your gang yellow means low standings There were other states. It was better than nothing but could have been bettter. Well the overview is strictly better. Only part of that UI I miss is the spinny radar graphic you see on the overview he has. Remember that the blue circle health UI didnt show structure, so people would hit full red and then just sit there for a bit while you shot them, then finally explode. About a week or two ago, after re-watching the planetary interaction videos, I decided that I missed the old voiceovers ("Warp Drive Active", etc) for some reason - so I installed EVE from the CD (Yes, eve came on a CD once! AMAZING), and extracted the files from there. Unfortunately, I forgot that all the old voiceovers sounded like they were talking underwater, so I felt pretty silly ----------------------------- Signature for sale :o

You actually saw them disintegrate amongst the explosions. For a while missiles would actually explode if they hit anything in their path. Made them a bit hard to use in fleets :). But that was too computation intensive for the servers so it was removed. But what you saw in the video was not that but a long standing bug where the explosion just wasn't centered on the target. Back when all missiles hit for the same amount of damage regardless of ship. Cruise missile kestrels, and torp caracals. I miss the old days. The term blob is almost as old as Eve, I don't remember who coined it, but I am pretty certain it came around after only a few months, since I remember using the term as one in-joke to the old B-scifi flick and to belittle the enemy hinting they got the intelligence of a slimemold.

Though back when they changed it, it seemed CCP changed it with every patch. Font was easy to read too. That circle icon was sorta nice. It didn't show the structure though. But back then it really didn't matter as you couldn't get hull resist. I prefer the bars now, much easier to read in a practical combat sense. For a weekend they should put Eve release on Sisi, just to show people how crap it was, and how great we have it now. ---- Sig here. ---> X

I'm not going to agree that they are the only issue. Sense Kali patch EVE has gone backwards in my opinion! Something is definitely missing from the game play other then lag and blobb warfare. To be honest I missed playing with the guys in B-VIP and the 7q Camps (Not todays 7Q). Roaming fleets we did with VOTF Xirtam. The nameless people I didn't even understand =/. I think there has been attempts to bring some older members together and bring back that old time feeling (FAIL). Not to get to off subject but the Trucker Spawns are not the same either. Anyone remember the ORE you would get from them?
