Caldari- the missile kings never missed the missiles always hit and had constant DPS, Whaa whaa whaa... then they changed missiles and poof minmatar and galentte became the PvP races to fly. You guys have to be kidding me. Time will come and go balance will shift around again and then again after that... just make sure you train for everything and you'll be good to go.

There wasn't any whining on forums about blasterboats being OP. CCP never mentiond they want/will to nerf blasters. They intend to nerf one thing, but as a side effect of that nerf, we get blaster nerf. So no. When my racial specialty is ending up nerfed for no reason, as a unintended sidefect, I dont want to "adapt or die". And I especially dont want to train Caldari. Amarr will be near OP after speed nerf, whinage will commence and they will be nerfed. No matter how strong and useful Raven and Drake end, they will simply never be nerfed. So one can only start training Minmatar and hope by the time you get there, tons of threadnoughts abount poor little underpowerd Minmatar will succeed to make CCP buff Minnies.

But I do have to point out that while they will have reduced functionality that doesn't necessarily mean that it's automatically an invalid tactic to use in combat. Continuing to use blasterboats still could be a good way to go, but it would require the reworking fits and what not.

I went gallente when they had nos domi/myrm and nano wasnt that big yet. (over priced Model on it's way ) What with it's looks and the up close and personal method of Blasters, what more do you need. It's a shame that CCP are using a sledgehammer, to crack the nano nut. Stuckwtf	Posted - 2008.09.07 21:36:00 - [30] In 8 days my Gal BS training is done after 2 years of Gallente, and in a couple of months that will mean **** cause I won't be able to reach targets without Null. But I don't mind, 100% of Gal support skills transfer to a Geddon. 4-5 months to fly a Geddon just as well as you can fly a Mega ain't bad at all.
