I'm bored at work, so I'm looking for weird setups people use that are out of the ordinary, yet you still like, or use on a regular basis. Something besides the standard setups you see everywhere. Don't care what ship it is, and please keep out the stupid answers, like, shield tanked armageddons or hull tanked avatars.

Erm, I believe that's the fit. I've lost that ship three times: - A Tach Abbadon - A Lachesis (God I annoyed the shit out of him before he finally popped me.. lol) - A Stealth Bomber (and he podded me too, what a jerk! :P)
In the mean time, I was instrumental in killing a huge number of ships. :)

Anti-support cruise/heavy neut fit Typhoon, Armor tanked Rokh with 3x 9km 2 point scrams for those jerks with WCS... hmm, what else... speed fit Lach with 3x ECCM for anti-Falcon use. Still gets jammed, but it's fun to put EM drones on a Falcon and watch it's shields go away quite quickly.

Shield Rep Bonus is pants anyway, unless used with faction booster and boost amp. Especially for Matar ships, which can simply use speed to mitigate damage.
If the Vagabond had a boost bonus, would you fit a shield booster on it?

CPU - 186.2/187.5 PWG - 61.6/61.69 Fitting is a little tight as you can see. Yeah, I know it only has one Analyzer so my accessdiff is only 30 but hey, I'm not in a rush. It's not a serious ship, just something I have fun in.

Artycane 6x 720mm Arty II (RF EMP), 2x Assault II 10mn MWD II, 3x Sensor Booster II (lock time) 4x Gyro II, 2x TE II
Heck, and because you're in a BC you probably have enough time to gank someone on a gate and warp out before the sentries break your shields.

Oh it does absolutely work better then a Munnin. It would be quite hard not to.
I use a buffered setup for sentry/gang work, not as a pure 'instapop hauler/frig' ship It's an interesting chance of pace from short range AC setups, and it is far more survivable in gang on gang settings naturally.
It's bizzare beacuse it's using arties obviously, the short range long range weapon system which can't track worth a damn

since nano is getting nerfed....
find the best tech 1 ship you can at tanking with bonuses with the highest cap/buffer base and small signature radius. preferably with the most amount of slots for that type of tank.
fit said tech 1 ship with 200 mil worth of named / faction modules to perform said tanking role.
you should be able to figure out which ship im talking about if you follow the clues. --

Edited by: Diehard Si on 18/09/2008 11:55:50 I invented this for solo and for killing nano vagas:
Armor tanked, AC firing, cap boosting, dual web Ishtar.
Fit 1 speed mod, 1 aux thruster and 1 True Sansha webber ( and 1 normal webber ). Overheat TS webber to web at 18km and catch anything. Turn off heat as getting nearer, hit other webber for maximum stoppage!
The 2nd webber is also handy incase something like a deimos wants to get in close, you can web it at 14km, and have that backup webber just incase his momentum takes him within 10km and his web range. 2nd webber ensures he gets no nearer and that you can turn off your MWD to save cap for the armor repper. AC's cos they are cap free and can operate at better range than blasters and easier to fit and better damage then rails. Drones are the main weapon.
Goes around 1500m/s, so is still nimble but got a tank and a hidden secret to catch unwary other ships.
