Ok. I had never intended to make another post on this thread because I thought my actions were transparent... but judging by the staggering number of convo's I've been invited to lately - it is apparent that there are many, many different views on this matter.
It's very clear to me that all corps in Eve have one thing in common... we all fight (when we fight) for what we believe in.
I accept the fact that not everyone will appreciate our way of thinking. I also accept that people can do whatever they like in this game, regardless of who they think is right or who they think is wrong.
Please allow me to say this:
Those members still within our corp who once worked hard for Carbide thought they were working for a common goal - but after many, many real life months (and in some cases the better part of a year) their long time CEO chose to betray them.
We, Crytek don't have anything against the majority of Carbide's members - but simply the leadership which believes that abusing the trust and friendship of those who work hardest for you is a good thing.
For the honour and integrity of ALL of my members, I would personally rather spend every penny I have and die fighting every corp in Eve to attain just the tiniest glimmer of justice rather than accept that these grievances do not matter.
I cannot and will not stop any single corp in Eve that wants to go to war with us be it on the basis of some contorted view of socialistic righteousness or simply a corp looking for a new target.
All that matters is this: I'd rather lose everything in a ball of flames than tell my friends that the betrayal of their friendship is not worth fighting for.

I will clarify
Crytek are fighting for justice for thier members and have not asked for help.
Carbide are rallying support from other corporations because they cannot fight /win.
That is the simple truth"
Crytek threatened war then demanded money, they have the support of CoD with the safety of CoD space to hide in.
Friends and support are earned in eve, do you expect people to ignore threats made against there friends ?
As for Carbide not being able to Fight, Carbide dont smak talk, brag or boast, thats not who we are or how we do things but I suggest you go talk to Crytek about how the war is currently going.

Erm... How IS the war going? (I really don't know) I am literally looking all over for you guys but you're close to impossible to find. Only found Zardac (think that's the name, an officer of yours anyway) today and he ran and logged at a station. (He was in an apoc, I was alone). FYI, many of us have gone away from your HQ as it's quite dull when it's nearly impossible to get into a fight with you. But by all means, please attack us, I'm bored. (And to make things clear, I'm not trying to be a wiseass, I really am bored and want to fight SOMEONE!)

Alex, You seem to be trying to be clever by quoting Carbide in your sig.
Obviously you havnt read the quote properly: Every MEMBER will get all they need. People who leave are not Members so dont count.

*raised brow at all this with a slight chuckle.*

I'm beginning to find this thread to be very amusing and just all around entertaining.
Honestly, most of you just can't let things drop and thats okay. Talsarius wants to go down in a ball of flames like he said so let him. Alex wants to quote Carbide and thats fine too.
What is the funny part here is that the fingers are pointing to the "leadership" of carbide as being the evil bastards of this whole things. And the "ebay" pimping, name calling flaming, and the same useless boring mumbo jumbo that most people do here.
The TRUE members of both corps are settleing the problems out upon the battlefield, and some glorious battles have taken place. As to who last what, who killed who... not my place to say. Carbide nor Crytek are winning this battle. In fact both are losing horribly in my eyes.
This battle has caused wounds that have gone beyond this "game" as we like to call it. But it seems the way some of your post here it is more like and adiction.
The War of Hurt Feelings... where one side is complaining about the other, and the other side just doesn't quite understand where people got so whiny. Lots of Cheese needs to be handed out here.
Honestly... I'm a director in Carbide... Aptly nick named the teacher by many of the people i'm forced to fight against. I'm also a Member of carbide that gives everything he has to the corp. Everything, with out being expected on being paid back or not. I give newer members knowledge of eve and frigates. I give vertern members modules i may have. I give the corp my time and my abilities to teach, study, learn, haul and mine freely because that is who i am.
Many of those in Crytek that are crying faul. I mined along side of them, Hauled for them, told jokes, and even talked about life and love with most of them. Some of them i planned to visit when i took a trip out to the UK this summer that i was planning. Even before they left, i tried to see what could retify the situation and keep most of them here. I was left in the cold. And when they all left, i was about to go with them, until i found out that i was unwelcomed. These gentlemen that decided to leave, decided to start talking about me behind me back and more or less start the name calling. Other things happened that have been beaten like a dead horse over and over again.. and honestly i'm not into bondage beastiallity necrophilia (thats beating (bondage) a dead (necrophila) horse (beastiallity.) for all those that missed out on the joke.)
So, we have heard pretty much everyones side in this ordeal... not it's time for everyone with their pretty words to let those that wish not to get flamed upon by you, to have their chance to speak. Because they are just simply put... words. The only people doing any real talking are those of us that are out on the battlefield.
Now if you will excuse me.

I agree with Xeserox with this point.
It is a dead issue. No one's mind is being changed, and there are just too many things being handled outside of the forums for this discussion to have much of a point.
Bottom line. Crytek and Carbide are going to spill blood. Crytek has SPECIFICIALLY asked for CoD to remain outside of the conflict, and we are not even evaluating it until asked otherwise.
I mean come on, would Curse open up its space for invasion if BIG had a problem with VOTF? Of course not, and neither will Dek.
Is there a problem with Crytek/Carbide relations? Obviously, as there is a Concord sanctioned war.
The rest is paint, drying on the wall.

Your totally right, no one would say in here that they changed their minds. But we might change informations about it how many losses theyre were on Carbide side. Or if the CEO lost all his implants. Was the ransom payd. One tiny thing, dont think crytek stands alone in that shadow around.
The Sleepers are out to awake, im not messing around with all the other Corps here dont get me wrong. But i absolutly dislike it, when there is these showing off scene...
