Seriously, CCP, since pretty much everybody is suffering terrible lag in really far off unpopulated systems, those same people coming from countries as diverse as the USA and Russia and everything inbetween I would think it's pretty safe to say that the problem is not with the network, at least, not as far out as national ISPs.
You know, you clowns make much such a big noise about how much better eve is because you don't do sharding. Did it ever occur to you that you wouldn't have these f***ing consistent problems if you did do sharding? Even using shards that allow session changes from one shard to another?
No? Sometimes you guys surprise me with your attitudes towards your customers. In any case I think I'll keep my main, since I've put a lot of work into it, but I think I'll be cancelling my alt. This is simply too frustrating.

Well, as we are on dentist analogies...
I had a "quick appointment" that turned into 48 hours over 4 months, and another 6 hours after that.
I had a "short session", that turned into the 6 hour ride from hell, cost me 30 days sick from work, on my time, my money, and cost me ú10k.
Am I smiling? Hell yeah!
I had a problem, it took longer than it thought to fix it, but it is fixed now, and much rather that than the alternative.
So, today, there was a problem, they thought they had it fixed, they didnt, they are working on it, it will get fixed...stuff happens, life goes on, much rather an extended downtime than them going "oh, yeah, we said it was fixed, we have taken up our alloted time, just live with it as it is now guys n gals"

During the Downtime of EVE?
I turned off my PC and slowly with massive suction my ass detached itself from my leather chair...
On legs that are unsteady and shaking i began to walk through my home to my front door...
Opening it i realized Oh My God...
This is what ive been missing with Eve.
Gradually I got up the courage to go outside into the vast openess of the real world...
Noticing some guy staring at me i cant help but to yell at him to **** off before i pod his ass.
He appeared confused as he stumbled away...
pffft noob.
I proceeded down the street and noticed a bank....
What is that i wonder and reach into my pocket for omg...

Running back to my home I engaged my MWD and wish to hell I had gone to the gym more...
God knows I need more nanos...
Atleast till the nerf.
Thankfully though I have multiple polycarbs installed so my weight is reduced.
Quickly I run through the door and lock it and in desperation search for my pod.
Just kidding...

give them a break a server isnt a easy thing to run now think how many they have all running with data transfers ect and hub's and switche's burn out i know i spend most of my time replacing them
