Why are people allowed to advertize shuttles as Apoc battle ships/bpcs and sell them for millions of isk? CCP, give yourselves a good kick in the arse, then check the escrow daily and suspend then ban people who repeatedly do this. This is degrading to the game. It also wastes my time.

this really pis.ses me off. most the items on escrow are a waste of time. a member of ISD needs to go throught the escrow 1-2 times a week and issue escrow bans on retards.

It's not really about being stupid. It's about polluting a valuable resource and tool to the point that it becomes unusable.
Out of the 1000's of daily escrow transactions, my guess is less then 1% are victims of scams, but 40% of those 1000 are scam listings.
Get it?

Inspect the escrow before you buy it and that won't happen. Only a fool would Claim an escrow without confirming the content! Especially if it's in the millions of ISK!?
However, I strongly support the addition of an Escrow FILTER textfield, where you could type the partial name of an item and return only the escrow with actual items matching that string. (Same way the search box of the market does). They can't remove the escrow title because vendors have to advertise packages of multiple items differently than single items.
Just be careful, if you're click happy, then drop the coffee!

You get a pop-up displaying the content of the escrow when you claim it. If you're to lazy to even read that, then its you're own fault.
However, i do agree that this is polluting the escrow system, which is very annoying.

Not because I'm a stupid sh*t and pick stuff without inspecting, but because 53% of the time it is a scam.
How about escrow listings with items of far less value than the asking price are red flagged (like they turn red and can be sorted to the bottom) so I can avoid them and not waste my time.
Also perhaps a rating system like on EBay would be nice, if someone gets a really bad rating (over a certain amount of people vote thumbs down on a char) they can have a bounty put on their head or maybe take a sec rating hit or even get banned from escrow by the SCC for a month. If you get a really good rating it could cost less to setup an escrow or you could be given a priority listing or something like that.
Inspecting an escrow could also be made easier. Put a little + next to the escrows and clicking on that would expand the escrow to show all the items inside.
I also agree that some type of item search is needed.
Please donĘt take out custom titles, they are very helpful and would not be a problem with at least the + and red flag thing.

I say CCP either fixes it so you see all escrow items (up to region level, 'show all' would prolly crash the server) or allow you to 'block' entries made by particular players so you can focus on the real stuff.

Solution: search option / or break escrow into sections. Although I believe that the escrow interface will be overhauled with Shiva (about bloody time)
