I remember from the EA novel the President went "This is a war that will be decided by our capsuleers..."
And I do remember hearing about how this new narrative is about the current 4 empire setup is going to be swept away and replaced by something else (for example, Republic + Thukker?)
So because people bumlove the militaristic/capitalistic/fascist Caldari and are currently pwning the Gallente, does that mean that, because of that, CCP will can the Federation?
Or do CCP have their own plans regardless of FW results? Just thinking about that quote from the novel...
I think since the Caldari currently resemble **** Germany occupying France [Gallente], eventually the Federation will retaliate very very massively (like in that PDF) and yeah...just like a WW2 narrative...eh I dunno *shrugs*

Ah the confidence of the Caldari. Here is the facts.
Caldari are bring large fleets to play, and every time some random FC from the gallente militia jumps in and fights them, QED Caldari end up holding the field and killing more people.
However out with the blobs (when I say blobs I am meaning FW Blobs > 15). Corps like Dearg Doom/Fernis as well as corps on the Caldari side (MENTL) are out killing lonesome ships we can pick off from the blobs.
Caldari have twice as many members however thats not your fault, however it would be good for the op to look at http://fwstats.eve-ic.net/ and change it to kills per member. and you'll see the Gallente Federation are doing very well per member.
so with your money, your level 4 agents, your vast numbers the gallente are still doing very well thank you.

Of course CCP will not allow the Gallente to actually lose. Nothing significant will ever happen based on player FW fights, anything you do will eventually be overruled by the official story, written months in advance, that you just get to read over downtime on the next patch day.
This is of course one of many reasons why FW is a complete failure.

Right well i have 2 points to make
1) assuming CCP decide to make faction war have an actual impact on the game world (unlikley imho look at point 2) surely what will decide who wins is (as implied by the name) victory points not just kills and losses and if you look at VP then gallente > Caldari almost consistently for the last month.
2) i find it unlikley that CCP will actually mold the game world acording to faction war for statrters it would be quite a lot of work on their behalf also you would have to do something with regards to the main navies, its impossible to imagine the gallente or caldary navy just sitting there while federation / state capsuleers push to gain territory. Furthermore for this to properly work there would need to be a re-vamp of the FW systm, victory conditions added for each faction and high sec systems made vulnerable to attack and conquest in the end this won't happen simply because if you did this high sec would probably cease being high sec, not to mention the fact that it would require enormous work on ccps behalf.

I just wish that the Gallente could consume the Caldari. . . . I started playing Caldari before I read the story line, Now I want to be all life, liberty, and the pursuit of freedom, with the Gallente. . . But even though its not a terribly large sum of SP Im not gonna throw away 4 mil SP just to make a Gallente char. . . So I guess I'll just have to take my Caldari Faction Gear and go fight the good fight with the Gallente :P

Yeah, freedom in the hypocritical American sense: you're free as long as you use your freedom to do exactly what we want, otherwise we just kill all of you. Read the background material on the Caldari/Gallente war and tell me the Gallente really care about freedom.
Get used to it: there are no good guys in EVE, only different kinds of evil.

Why are the Caldari considered "worse" than the Federation storyline wise? If I read it correctly, didn't the Federation attack and take the Caldari homeworld? Let them fight it out - capsuleers are above such things.

What, you want it to be possible for (Faction X) to beat the rest and win, Planetside-style? What happens then? Does it become impossible to roll Gallente characters? What about existing players? Do you reset the servers if one side steamrollers the other?
Not going to happen. EVE is a persistent universe, and that also means persistence of content. I'm sorry that CCP disappointed you by applying some actual logic and good game design here, rather than allowing over-ambitious game mechanics to destroy the virtual world.
FW is the way it is for the same reason that the US government doesn't post sensitive documents on 4Chan.

Neither is true. High-sec raids are common and old news, your kill count there is yawn-worthy, and some folks have the guts to step it up and do their killing in .8, .9, and 1.0 systems. Show me some faction battleship kills in Oursulaert and then I'll be happy to applaud your laudable efforts.
You hit low-end high-sec once and had some mild success. That's it. Yet you trumpet it like you killed a titan. I can count at least two or three different threads where you mention that one raid like it proves your manhood or something. This isn't the RP forum where you're supposed to trumpet that kind of thing in fine press release fashion, m'kay?
I've never seen a corp so in love with itself as you lot, and coming from one serious PR-fiend, that's really a scary statement. Regarding the Gals having more kills per pilot than Caldari since FW started.
This is indeed a fact. It is also a fact that Caldari is the most popular race among players. So we have what would appear to be an oxymoron, as Caldari should even by sheer numbers, have more kills.
There are two explanations to this:
1. Gallente are superior pilots
2. Caldari are inferior pilots.
The answer is #2 exactly because Caldari are more popular. The amount of rookie pilots among the Caldari militia is just mind numbing. So what the Gallente are proud of, are just cheap kills.
If you could multiply the amount of skill points with the number of kills, you would propably find that Caldari are on top.
