well if you want to marry him then I will gladly help out for this cause of possible happiness.
I will try and commit as many corpses from my alliance as possible, and will bring them to hisec for you
where do you need them?
we should have a few thousand at this stage
maybe you could send me an ingame Mail too, so I don't have to run through the forums all the time
and good luck

So the Craigslist entry might look something like:
Slightly geeky SWM with necromantic tendencies seeks woman with large dowry... corpses will do.

As corpses are not stackable, I'd bet that it will be client/node crashing way before your reach your goal. The client at least I don't see possibly surviving opening the cargo to check the deed have been done.
Way overestimating CCP on that one...

She'll just gather 200 and do a "woman move" at which point she'll "logically" say "But it's almost like 500.000!" and if the man disagrees, as it doesn't fit the previously made contract terms, she'll pout and/or rage about it, deny sexual favors and it's the mans fault for being, technical term, a "stupid head".

Well, I don't believe you can have 1000 items in a location anyway...
so... I would imagine you'd have to get a ton of sec cans and throw them into there, but I'm really just thinking out loud.

Sec cans can't be put unpackaged in a freighter, only freight container can and they are far too big for the 1000 corpse limit.
Betting on the guy knowing it and not not wanting to get married.

Hmmm after the deed has been done, the Charon filled, the marriage planned... Just imagine what you could do with a charon bomb
Some 80,000 corpses would lag a system to hell and back...not that I'm suggesting anyone do that of course

Smart move there, OP.
Corpses are generally considered worthless, so the 'beggar radar' wouldn't go off for most, but if you know the right people, they can be sold for decent amounts of cash. Good way of making some extra ISK, wish I had thought of that.

Hmm, when I read the message from the OP I assumed, cause this is a MMO, that he was a bloke and the marriage was a same sex marriage. Rereading the original post does nothing to change my opinion.

Even if so,, that's got nothing to do with the question presented .
To OP ; i'll gather all corpses i get in the vicinity of and contract em when i have a reasonable amount.
All the best,

I am so sorry, but what you are asking is the equivalent of having someone feed you cards under the table while you play poker. Now, I know it is just your womanly ways, cheating in order to position yourself so that you can suck the life force of any male within reach, but I can not assist your demonic efforts designed to trap your true love.

Edited by: Tiirae on 14/11/2008 12:24:00 I can say without a shadow of a doubt: If he won't marry you unless you do this, then he doesn't want to marry you. If you do manage it and he marries you out of a sense of integrity and obligation, then it will be a miserable union indeed.
Sure, do this if you want to as a gesture of your feelings for him, but an act like this isn't going to change his feelings for you at all. it may even lose you respect as it seems a bit desperate.
also, as already mentioned the client will not handle displaying a cargo hold with 500k items in it. You will need to stash them at at least 50 different stations with 10k in each.
anyway, you won't be able to do it. 500,000 is a big number. the molea cemetery only had a couple thousand, if that, and that guy worked for months and months on it.
As a measure of my skepticism, if you manage to collect 500k corpses, I'll give you 10 billion isk. Guaranteed. |

You'd be surprised at how many corpse collectors there are around.
Originally by: Victor Valka If you were to look up 'over-analyzing' in a dictionary your picture would be given as the definition.
Perhaps I am over-analyzing, though ironically it's EVE that made me question people's motives at all times.
In any case, the OP's goal is: - Unrealistic (assuming a 900,000 m¦ cargohold, 450,000 corpses would be required) - Technically impossible (cannot fit more than 1000 items to a single location, and containers don't help much either)
Now add these facts: - Marriage is serious businessÖ, and the BF is supposedly willing to marry over a bunch of pixel corpses. Granted, it's the thought that counts, (as morbid as that may be) but it does show some degree of immaturity regarding serious choices in life. - Furthermore, having set an impossible goal tells that he probably doesn't want to marry to begin with, making the OP's venture a waste of time. (If my BF did that to me, I'd probably dump him for being a disrespectful bastard)
Now, when we consider that the OP has apparently failed to consider the points above, you have to suspect his/her intentions to begin with.
How's that for over-analyzing, Victor?

Marriage dependent on an absurd bet concerning a video game - you must be desperate honey.
If you think corp is different than a guild or clan you have some insecurity issues.

I see your over-analyzing and raise it with more over-analyzing
Consider how long time it would take to get a hold of all these corpses. If at peak time everyone got podded once each hour it would take 12.5 hours. This is of course not going to happen.
Say 500 get podded each hour (I don't know if this is a relevant number but I guess it could get pretty busy out in 0.0), then it would take 1000 hours to get the corpses, or a little less than 42 days. This is of course assuming you can get a hold of all those corpses. If you get say 10% of all the corpses killed in EVE every hour it would take 10000 hours or approx 1 year and 2 month |
