Some details: I'm using a Dutch version of Windows 7, EVE client language is set as English. Keyboard is a "United States (international)" one. Only thing that seems to work so far is setting the "notation settings" to English (United States). Mentat works as b4 then and the EVE client let's me use the "." key on the numpad again. |

I know you mentioned that an import feature from EVE Central is planned, but any idea when you may roll out with it? Right now, importing market data on multiple items at once is not possible. I have to go through each item in my Quick List and hit 'Export to File' , which is a long and tedious process (unless there's a way that I'm not aware of???).
Would be nice to import my Quick List at once into EVE Mentat... |

As a hack you could copy MarketScanner.html to something and edit the "var ids" Then load that up in EVE. (You might need to make whats listed in "List of orders" match with what you put in "var ids"). |

I have the same problem with the comma and dots, can't use EVE Mentat until that is fixed, have to update orders manually sadly, I hope you find what's the problem soon, and thanks a lot for this awesome tool ! |

The workaround I mentioned doesn't work for you? That is: setting "notation settings" to English(United States). It screws up my dates in excell-sheets but at least I can Mentat for now :P
Edit: had a glimmer of hope the 1.1.1 patch of today had fixed the issue, but no such luck. Workaround is still effective for me though. |

Yeah turning it into English (US) mode didn't change anything. I have an AZERTY keyboard and it is usually set to French in those windows settings. |

When I use the market browser data import/update (from client), only some of the data is updated. About 50% of my orders say they're fine, and the other half have the yellow highlight saying the data is too old. If I search that item in the browser it also says the data is too old.
If I manually view market data ingame of a specific item, then click cache import in the market browser, data for that item will update.
I'd like to do them all at once, any advice?
Edit. Ignore the above, I worked it out. |

Test build: EVE Mentat 1.1.28
I've fixed issue with decimal delimiters. Now you are able to use system default delimiter for clipboard operations or choose it manually in preferences.
Looking forward for your feedback. EVE Mentat - true trade tool |

Hey, that's very strange, it's still not working for some reason. When I try to paste the copied price from eve mentat, which has a comma, I just have that bzz sound. If I try to paste just a comma in the Order price field, it works, but if I try to paste anything else, with the comma, it doesn't work.
If I try to paste a price with dots, it's same as before, it pastes 400m instead of 4m for example.
I was really not expecting that, this is pretty weird. |

I think CCP really screwed it up now.... It seems that when I use my local (Dutch) settings, I can't paste anything with a decimal separator of any kind anymore into a market order.... So I can't even test if the Mentat test build is working as intended.
Don't really have time to double check and fiddle now but will get back on this.
Edit: double checked and fiddled anyway, who needs sleep right? The EVE client will simply not let me paste any ammount of isk into the modify order textbox that has a separator in it as long as I use the Dutch notation settings. Can paste 1000 isk fine but 1000,01(comma) isk ends up just leaving an empty textbox. 1000.01(point) ends up as 100001 isk.
So yeah, no way to test if your new build works for me till CCP figures that one out.

Just have created detailed bug report to CCP after deep investigation of this issue.
For those who can't trade with this I recommend to configure price increment to 1.00 ISK in EVE Mentat, and remove all cents from every order's price. It's sad of course, but can be temporary workaround. EVE Mentat - true trade tool |

This is a great application, I actually use it because I can't find better, but I would GREATLY appreciate more corporation support added. I'd like to be able to sort and filter all corporation wallet journals and transactions, not just self only.
If I'm missing how to do that, I'm sorry, I just can't seem to find corp level wallet info and I'd really find that useful. |

I love this tool!
However its not deleting all the files from the CachedMethodCalls folder for the market import. I create about 60 files per min from 3 EVE clients.
I ran a test for about one minute. 57 file created. EVEMentat said "51 files imported", however all 57 files are still in CachedMethodCalls.
Delete old files on import is definitely checked. (I am clicking the cache import button on the market browser page) Default import source is EVE Cache

EDIT: Running as Admin, and using "Import ALL" doesn't del the files either. EVE Mentat doesn't modify EVE client's cache. It's against EULA. "Delete old files on import " concerns deleting files from temporary folder which is intermediate between cache import tool and EVE Mentat.
To omit previously scanned market data use option "Preferences / Cache import tool / Import only new market data" instead. EVE Mentat - true trade tool |

Pretty much an amazing tool, thanks for all the great work! It's helped me a LOT in selling stuff I manufacture since I sell my wares across multiple regions and almost never have fewer than 150 orders at a time (what can I say, I like making all kinds of crap and seeing just how high I can push the price on it and still have people buy it up )
It would definitely be cool to have some kind of a functionality for (optionally) automatically setting the self cost, but I can see how that would be tricky because different people are very likely to disagree to some extent on what the cost of an item is. For me it's how much it costs to produce but this is all I do, buy materials and sell them back as stuff that goes on ships and gets blown up soon enough. Personally, even a file import functionality would be useful for me, where the input could be something like a tab-delimited list of item names and prices (since I can easily obtain those just by exporting from my spreadsheets).
As it stands, though, this tool is wonderful and I recommend it even though I understand it would make it easier for my market competition to compete with me, heh. Thart, I contracted you a token of my appreciation for the work you've done, considering that it makes my moneymaking faster and all Thanks! |

Of course I have a different ideas how to calculate self costs, but currently I'm working on market import from EVE-Central/EVE Marketeer.
Just added task for self cost import. Export is under construction now.

Hi, very good program indeed, its helping a lot
may i suggest the following? (im sorry if in someway this is already possible, but since im a new user)
character orders
when using imported orders with api and market scanner in the IGB and after that loading that information from cache i can see the orders that ive been outbid (red ones), but:
Sell orders - from what i can see the program only shows outbided orders from the same solar system (or station?). so if i was outbided with an order one jump away the program doesnt show red for that order since i was not outbided in the same solar system. i know that i can check and use the market browser for that item, but if i have to check this for every item i would waste a lot of time, almost the same time that i used to take why dont you allow users to choose if they want the program to take in consideration the orders for that item in the same solar system or in the hole region for example, so if i was outibid 1jump away the order can show red in the price?
buy orders - i use a lot of regional buy orders for several items. so im having the same problem as above. imagine this.. i place a buy order with the range of "regional" in a different solar system and with a price way bellow other orders with the range of "station". now i dont want to raise the value of the order, since im willing to go to any place in the same region to get the item. this order is green in the price because i was not outbided in the same solar system. but imagine that another guy places a regional order for the same item in another solar system? this way the order is still green, but i have been outbided for the regional order the program could allow the user tho choose orders within the same "range" as a complement of what is shown now (this away the order could go red with another order higher than mine, within the same range and placed in a another solar system. or the program could at least display in "market orders" the orders with the same range and / or all the other orders for the same region (from what i can see now the program only shows orders in the same solar system)
i know that i could with the market browser identify that, but again, if i do this for every item in the buy orders i would "waste" a lot of time doing that
so with examples:
Sell orders - my orders: order 1 in solar system x with the price of 10million isk other user orders: an order for the same item as order 1, in solar system y one jump away, but in the same region, with the price of 1million isk Result: the program shows the order as green, but it should take in account the order one jump away(or even other regional orders for the same item), so this way a red is showed (this could be optional for user)
Buy orders: - my orders: order 1 in solar system x with the price of 1million isk with the range of regional Other user orders: an order for the same item in solar system y, with the price of 1.1million isk and the range of region conclusion: the program shows the order as green since i have not been outbided in the same solar system, but ive been outbided for the regional range orders. (the program could allow the same as above) |
