CCP wants people to move into lowsec and 0.0
The ores in lowsec really aren't worth it in most cases.
Why not change that by allowing a POS module that will distribute mining yield bonuses to the corp/alliance that owns the POS it's mounted at. A nice bonus, but nothing heavy handed. Maybe 20% ?
Would a 20% yield bonus on lowsec minerals draw any of you who are highsec miners into lowsec, if it required a POS module?
What if it were a field generator like a mobile warp disruptor, with varying sizes and bonuses, requiring various degrees of mining director skill to set up?

I'm actually suprised that this recieved no responses.
If it falls off the front page untouched again I'll be puzzled but let it die, I guess.

But would it be enough to actually make people mine there regularly? I no longer mine, myself, except rarely, so I'm not really in touch when it comes to what miners think about lowsec mining these days. With Trit being as expensive as it is, I imagine lowsec is not very attractive at all for miners, but if/when trit begins to fall again, perhaps then.

how hard is it to keep a pos up and running in lowsec?
I think it might be better to use some kind of module or probe-like thing to give the bonus. that way smaller corps and ops is possible without having to build a pos and maintain and defend it.

Yes, I was actually thinking about that. Something along the lines of a mobile warp disruptor in how it works, but useable in Low / 0.0 only rather than 0.0 only.
