I started off as a miner, then as a hunter. It was not for at least 9 months that I got into the PvP aspect of the game. The Scorp and BB are designed for specifically that part of it. If youre not into PvP fine, dont get a Scorp or BB thats all, but dont as a 3 week noob try and tell us that they are useless, it makes you look arrogant.

Ill just pick another race then. I am just tired of every MMORPG I play, I pick something, it is completely screwed up and 'good in groups of 50'. Im not paying for this damn game to help any 'group' buy better ships, im playing this game for me only. Balance should be emphasized across the board, on each level of ship for any type of player.

translation: all ships should be the same, cause I can't be arsed to train for another races ships.
Edit: The non flamming version of that is, if you don't like Caldari ships train to use other ships your in no way forced to fly Caldari ships.

If you want a damage dealing Caldari cruiser try a Caracal (still my favorite ship cus it looks cool), use kinetic missles and at least one ballistic mod and you will tear anytning up from any distance. Make sure your missle skills are maxed.

Detaurus, you seem to have absolutely no idea about anything.
The Scorpion is the only battleship I fear to take on, it's one of the most dangerous ships out there.
And the Blackbird IS the best cruiser of ALL, hands down.

The only things that BBs and Scorps are bad at is mining. If you aren't happy with the Caldari ships then train up something else. or make a new character. You're only 3 weeks old.

So then you would all agree that in PVE blackbird and Scorpion are completely underpowered in comparison to other Ships? I did not know about the ECM vs NPC nerf until about 2 days ago when I read the patch notes, so in PVE they are completely useless. What is the equivalent uselessness in a ship for PVP then? I was under the impression, after reading the patch notes, that equity between the classes ie "damage per capacitor per second' was an important aspect. Why should it be then? Just say this battleship is for this, this is for that, why the move to DPS equalization?
