They needed 4 carriers to get a few of our measly little ships and were playing undock games all the time. After which Bobby put "lol fail" in local. Most other alliances would have long ago cascaded when faced with the amount of failure they have endured. No matter how much they lose and embarrass themselves, they just pick themselves up, move to a new region, and pray that this will finally be the one where things go right. I travelled to the XX9 system in my falcon to purchase something nice and upon entering local I realised that indeed the entire ATLAS alliance was in local. Upon undocking with my new item I found the entire ATLAS alliance to be outside the station including a dictor bubble. IE-EX took K25 with 15-20 people because scooter likes k25 and you were dumb enough to only have 3 towers in the 7 moon system. We never really had any atlas support and actually got *****ed at for dropping towers there. It took you a week to call in all your droneland friends to take the system back. You couldn't defend yourself against even 1 corp.

You had three alliances allied together which were Atlas, Smash, and Roadkill. And in the drone regions you had RA, ED, and IRC attacking Atlas. And in Geminate you had Goons and few other non-descript alliaces attacking Roadkill. Smash I believe had fallen apart internally right before this due to several of the leadership was out of game due to real life issues. What made Atlas, Smash, and Roadkill strong is that we would switch off in fights, some times Atlas would bring the caps and Roadkill/Smash would bring the troops. And other times it would be Roadkill would bring caps and Atlas and Smash would bring the troops. The failure was when Smash went inactive and being hit from two sides at the same time with more numbers. Once it was evident that you couldn't match the numbers and it was a matter of time Atlas pulled out, took there assets, took a few weeks of and, in my opinion was a good move for them because they stayed together and became stronger. They didn't just fight until all assets and spirit was lost and fade away like many other alliaces. Roadkill then divided and some people went to Atlas and some like myself decided it was time to move around the map and get to know new people, and new things. The downfall was simply piling in the numbers, we were use to fighting out number and winning quite a few battles. But when you throw three to four times our numbers into Geminate and three to four times our numbers into the drone lands it was inevitable that you would loose the systems. And for all this talk about Atlas being kicked from one area to another, well, you just don't know what your talking about. I don't talk to any of the Atlas members anymore (because I'm not in there alliance anymore) but quite sure that they are doing exactly what they want to do. It was not taken from us, nor was there a fight for the moon, it was sold and handed over in an orderly manner. Though I did hear that goons or xdeath (forget which) took it from irc but later returned it. I left RK for two reasons. Simply I wanted to experience more of the game. Very simulator to what I believe Atlas is doing. Moving around the area's exploring, and finding new people to fight. The second reason was a personal dislike for one of the RK Fleet commanders. I have to say all but this one were top notch. But there is no hiding the fact that Gerku and myself didn't get along. And I didn't want to be in the same alliance as him. When it came time to get in a gang and it caused myself to just log off rather than put up with his foul mouth then it was time to move on. -John
