Someone tell the people designing ships at CCP that Gallente/Amarr guns use cap and grid. CCP hasn't figured that out yet. Paladin doesn't have capacitor/grid problem.
????? Please show me a good fit for a paladin that does not struggle with power grid issues... kthnx |

The Paladin should not be anywhere on this list. It's a superb ship. With that said, it would be nice to be able to fit 4x Tachyon IIs, a LAR II, and a 100mn AB II, without a fitting mod. Cap is not really an issue with this ship.

If anything makes the Paladin fall flat it's the Web Bonus. You would've thought that they have put in the Apoc's 7.5% Range Bonus.
I mean for 90% of the work it does would be better served by range. Especially when the NPC's it targets EWAR cuts it's range.
Not really dysfunctional but some wasted potential. |

The real dysfunction in the paladin is as follows: It's not developed by Khanid innovations. The Sexy Black and Blue applied onto an apoc hull, combined with incredible capacitor and a HELL of an armor tank and spitting out torps while being unaffected by tracking disruptors would definately be my 'Oh my god it's so god damn awesome i must have it! I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!' Yeah, I'd totally buy all hulls of it i could afford, just like catching ALL the pikachus in the veridian forest. |

PG8 implant. problem solved.
but i must say if you're using a tach setup then there should be no need for an afterburner. makes perfect since to have one with a mega pulse setup though. but that's just me i guess. |

You sir are wrong. I don't get why everyone hates on the cerb. It really isn't a bad ship you just have to use it properly.
The Eagle on the other hand deserves to be on this list. It's suppose to be a sniping platform which i suppose it is but 200 dps or so with lowish alpha? Not very snipey imo. I plan on living forever.......so far, so good. |

As for the navy issue exequror, I'd rather see it be like a halfway decent logi - but in its current role I will point out that it is significantly faster than a Thorax, its ROF bonus means its 4 turrets are 5.33 "effective turrets" before the 5% damage per level is factored in (but the thorax has this, so they cancel out), and it has the same low and med slot distribution I'm guessing the lower number of highs makes the fitting about the same So you get 6.67% more turret DPS, and 78 m/s more speed (45.8% faster) for the loss of about 200 armor, 200 shield, and 200 hull H
I checked on this because I thought I had compared the Thorax to the ENI a long time ago and I remember the only difference between the two was speed and number of drones. Structure/Armor/Shield EHP were the same. Now Evelopedia shows they are different by quite a bit.

Did CCP do a stealth change to the stats of the Tier 1 Faction Cruisers, or am I just remembering incorrectly? |

I know some of these ships can be good in certain situations but they all could use some work.
This and I'd add some out of my head, not exhaustive, there are far more than the ones above and below.
+Eos
+Sin
+T1/T2 EF/EAF
+Exequror and all T1 fake logi ships
+Mackinaw and hulk for being such fail design (n-¦1 fail imho) and the T2 skif fake version whatsoever
+T1 mining barges and industrials |
