Also, desyncs are what the OP is referring to, and they certainly still happen. No matter how much hardware they throw at it (and they have thrown quite a bit of rather expensive hardware at the "Jita Problem(tm)") it will ALWAYS lag, because so many people congregate there. As I am reasonably sure I am not allowed to discuss actions taken I can maybe state that a CCP GM may or may not have contacted me concerning this incident. My apologies that I did not do 4-5 more loads, as I had originally planned to see if it would crash the node. I was only trying to be like BoB.

If you chose to fight, smack or whatever there then you should expect lag Ccp have got better things to do that fix something that works fine.
