I got killed heading into Amamake, decided to warn the people in Osoggur heading into Ama. The pirates called me homo. Told them I am gay and would petition them for hate speech. Then they really started laying it on. Lots of name calling. I am still there and so is the gate camp in Ama, lots of legions and huginns. Hate speech is all right with everybody in Eve, right? Doesn't matter what names I get called. Just wondering. |

Usually, being gay is considered cool in EVE. Like if I said that I was going to hit your ass like a dong, I would be awesome. If however I went up to someone in RL and said that... they might look at me cross-eyed if they were not into that sort of thing.

It depends, yes the pirates are in the wrong.
how ever i suspect that you arnt really gay. I think you were just butt hurt that you got ganked
... you then smack talking in local.
... they then fell for your trap and called you a homo,
.... you then had the amunition to cry hate speach, in hopes of getting them band in order to get revenge.

Mate stating that to the locals especially some of the ftards that play this game is like blood in the water to sharks, best thing is to ignore it, just kids being clever and the like.
Also get a thicker skin they are just out for the reaction and probably don't really give a rats a** who or what you your are.
Also your likely to get some stick looking for understanding on these forums as well.

No, this kind of language is not ok with everyone in EVE. Petition the **** out of the guys.
