Most stuff by the Coen Brothers: Fargo is probably my all time favorite No Country for Old Men is awesome O Brother, Big Lebowski, Hudsucker Proxy, etc...
Other than that: Matrix Terminator 1 and 2 Dark Knight has to be up there somewhere Leon

I saw Twelve Monkeys again this christmas. Maybe not an all time favorite but definitely worth mentioning. Bruce Willis best move imo.

soo many films its hard to pick to be honest, however im glad a few people mentioned Man on fire, as that is a truly epic film, but there are so many good ones i cant say i can pick a 1 favorite

I cant pick just one favorite. Different movies are good in different ways.
But The Matrix was the movie that really surprised the hell out of me when I went to see it in the cinemas. I didnt know anything about it, so I got thrown into that world without warning... :) Awesome movie.

My official response to this question is Gladiator. However, there is no better way to waste an entire day than to watch the entire extended versions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, all in one sitting.
Close runners-up for favorites include: any Star Wars, The Matrix trilogy, Raiders and Last Crusade (I don't like Temple and don't acknowledge the existence of that new pile of dung), Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
And then there are the movies that are considered "must-watch" if I ever come across them while channel surfing: Die hard, The Hunt for Red October, The Shawshank Redemption, and of the Star Trek Movies. |
