I've been informed that the University of Caille holds special reading classes for people who can not read.
I believe you should attend them.

You know for a roleplaying post, PIE's attitude (for the most part) sucks.
Shame on you.

Oh now how very ironic. PIE leaping to the defence of their buddies in SA for actions very similar to those Oracle defended CA over, whilst Oracle was in CA.
Difference was, Oracle was defending piracy, wasn't it?
You told me once, Hardin, that it's very hard to maintain one's convictions and honour once you become involved with an outer regional alliance. How right you were.

You'll note that the allegations against the SA corps who have moved into Domain space to rid it of the Soul Cartel, are made by Soul Cartel members.
PIE have declared this Soul Cartel a pirate organisation, and we've plenty of incidents to fall back on to validate our declaration.
Pirates trying to denounce their hunters is nothing new, and is a ruse easily seen through. In this case, it was outright moronic.
I'd not think you this easily fooled, Makkar. ----------------------------------------------

Indeed Makkar - regional politics are mucky. However if you read carefully you will not see any defence of the Stain action here.
Indeed as we were not there to witness them ourselves we have no idea whether these 'alleged' actions even took place.
What I did do was point out that the author of this posts corporation - Legion - has taken part in piratical actions for which we have definite proof.
I am therefore more minded to believe Stain than the Soul Cartel.
If Stain did indeed undertake piratical actions then I wholeheartedly condemn them - my 'belief' is that they did not! But I could be wrong. I am not infallible Makkar
What I will say is that PIE as part of its duties to protect Amarrian space from terrorists AND pirates will continue to mount patrols into the area.
Gemodi, Mamet and Misaba are all Amarrian Empire systems and all pilots should be able to traverse them unhindered by pirates of whatever colour.
PIE is merely one corporation and the pirates and terrorists are numerous so we cannot do everything at once. But at least we make the effort - unlike those who have allowed pirates to linger unhindered in Bosena for months!

Hardin, don't for a moment think I disapprove... PIE's free to ally with pirates if it wishes. It just amuses me that PIE's noble, honourable fažade is a somewhat thin veneer after all when presented with the riches of 0.0 space. You're seeing things from a side of the fence we were on a number of months ago. Defend your buddies no matter what, because that's your source of high ends and named modules. Attack your buddy's enemies on the forums... It's all very familiar.
It's a downward spiral away from all of your ideals. Break away now, while you still can, lest you become yet another soulless "l33tboy" ganker corp.

As has been repeatedly said on these forums, PIE will take action where possible against all pirate corporations active in Amarrian space.
I have seen no evidence that MASS are engaged in piracy in the Misaba area, however.
And if you want to help rid the galaxy of pirates, perhaps you should consider doing something about the criminals that have been infesting Minmatar space for several months without serious opposition.

Interesting.
A known piratical entity accuses a corporation not known for piratical activities within Empire space (letting it slide what they do in 0.0) of shooting down it's "innocent" ships.
PIE knows the piratical entity quite well after numerous encounters and reports and informs them that their little bluff as being innocent miners is perfectly known to be a ruse.
Minmatars in their infinite lack of wisdom now accuse PIE of defending piratical actions of the SA corporation, which incidentally is also a supporter of the Amarr Empire.
How calling the pirates bluff equates to PIE giving SA full backing is beyond me to see in these words.
I suggest Makkar also stops with his bluff.

Where have we allied with pirates?
What evidence do you have for your view that our honour is no more than a facade?

PIE and SA may view Soul Cartel anyway they wish.. doesn't change the facts.
The facts being: Many of the members of the Soul Cartel have been living out in that area for over 6 months.. some have been there nearly a year. Sure, some corps changed names, members, and even philosophies...but they've never left the area.
Soul Cartel is "officially" formed.. and begins regulating traffic throughout the area. Several SA corps resent it.. and tensions increase. The matter is later resolved.. only to rise again. We're simply defending our home.. nothing more, nothing less.
We've staked our claim, if the Emperor has a problem with it, he can send a delegate to speak to the CEOs of the Soul Cartel.
