Thats right on the money. why should miners have risk free access to decent ore in 0.4-0.1 sec systems? My ganking is now less than risk free in these systems due to these changs, where is the pay off? What do miners risk now?

For all the noise pirates make they are in the minority. Piracy is a crappy profession you chose it now live with it. S#itholes have a hard life get use to it. This does not mean I am for or against pirates it is just how life is when you choose that path.
Ninety percent of the pirates are not successful not in the long run. For all your ranting you are still bound by the rules of the LAW. In reality you are a joke you may kill some Carebears but they still own you. You don't like the lack of control and your hatred fuels your fire.

I've run the numbers. Factoring the cost of defence or the risk of losing haulers and stuff, the ore in 0.4 and below is pitiful.
For an empire miner, the most profitable thing to do is sit in 0.7, launch a couple of drones and suck scordite all day.
Hemorphite and Hedbergite and whatever small mid ores you can find, are, for the majority, worth at best only a few hundred thousand isk more per hour. Hardly worth jumping out from Concord's protection for.
The jump between empire and 0.0 mining is staggering, the difference between 1.0 and 0.1, barely noticable.

If 0.4 -> 0.1 has hedg and hemor they are better than the 0.0 systems I looked at last night. I was setting up for NPC hunting and choose a ground. So I was ofc doing the BM I need etc.
In my system there was naught but Jaspet. So I had a look in system going back and never saw a singel roid above Jaspet.
This is 0.0 systems, no belt, and I scanned quite a few, had anything above Jaspet. Now even small huskes indicating they are regrowing or have been mined heavily.
I am not saying all 0.0 is FUBAR, but, that place must have been. Jaspet? Not even wort the effort to mine and haul to a station.

The ideas about pirating and PVP in EVE-Online.
Since the retail and even befor that, iw had the same friends ingame, burning hoping and loving the game, Seen the oppertunities in the game, been members or are members of the best PVP oriented Corps in EVE. trying to adapt towards the changes ccp made to the game reforming into a Corp with alot of skilled PVP players ... nerf after nerf getting our hopes up, and then ruined the day after, i do not talk about ganking im talking about PVP and pirating, (I think we all can agree on a game without pvp would be a dead game?)
Fleet battles are just LAAAG fests FACT. to me it seems like when we (Pirates/PVP players)
do kill a ship infront high sec guns it¦s beeing nerfed to hell, getting upgraded fiering everywhere and so on, Se my previous post on log on log off tactis beeing ok to carebears but beeing a exploit when piretes does it.........  and yes GM i still have the mail!!!! So why this post? well ill keep playing the game even tho you keep nerfing ill adapt and ill find other ways to shoot ships dead .. i will think of even more crazy ways of killing shipsin 0,1-0,4 space and hopefully ill outsmart you still, cus to me you cant outsmart the MASTER (IRONI)  i hope that some day you will realize that pvp and pirating is good for the game.
While making this post iw been drinking MASSIVE amounts of Absint.
And joshua Calvert yes you are a PIRATe you just dont realize it.
