its not required, but it does make it a heckuva lot easier to calculate the necessary thrust required from each engine to push the ship straight. its like figuring the gear ratio necessary to drive a 4 wheel drive truck with different size tires front and rear. unless you get them perfect, they won't rotate at the same speed. if they are the same size you can simply use a 1:1 gear ratio. in space the effect would be extremely pronounced over a trip of billions of km. i guess thats why we have ships computers =D.

as far as the caldari destroyer, it would look great if the front didnt look like a snowplow.. taper that off to a narrow ****pit like the caracel has and you've got a winner
edit: can you adjust the profanity filter on these forums to ignore the word c-o-c-kpit? its rather silly. you can say mass, even though that contains a popular profanity.

while the other ships are some of the best and most interesting looking ships in the game the caldari one looks baad
when doing concept work you usualy sketch a few ideas on paper, then look at them, find what you like in each and draw some more untill you are happy with the result, for the caldari ship it seems that this process was skipped, it has a few things that are nice but alot that isnt
and oh yeah, I like to ***** and moan alot

the Caldari and minmatar are by FAR the best looking. The Gallente ones and the amarr battlecruiser look ****. Normally its the other way around, and Gallente = Amarr > Caldari > minmatar

O and 1 thing.
pls say the gallente bc has another wing on the other side. if its just the one wing its gona look like a beached whale.
We already have 2 blobs in the gallente fleet and adding any more like them will result mass desertation from the gallente race.
