I myself usually only subscribe to eve 2-3 months in any given year, often my re-sub is due to an offer or new expansion. But I do Visit MMO sites a lot (like mmorpg.com) so I do see Eve ad's a lot and sometimes they do remind me to check out the latest blog or patch notes, which is the start of a potential re-sub.
