Playing gay characters is already completely possible. Here's how: 1) Make a character. 2) Decide that s/he is homosexual. It's really that easy. Until the day they add a "sexual preference" statistic on character sheet (which will hopefully never happen), the above is all that's necessary.

In this case I think the pink latex open neck shirt is big red flag. If you add the matching make up/tatoos and haircolor there you have a big alarm. Finally look at the expression and the face and how it all comes together and there you go.
