why does everyone want to get rid of the maelstroms boost bonus?! thats the ships bread and butter.. you guys are nuts... imho of course 
falcon should have its optimal range bonus changed to ECM falloff, it would make it slightly "weaker" than the rook, and would give falcon pilots the choice of super long range vs super strong ECM.

Scorpion: Get rid of the ECM Bonus, replace it with 5% Rof & 7,5% Optimal of Large Hybrid Weapons per level (+1 Turret Hardpoint, +1400gp, +40cpu, +25m^3 drone bay)
An by gods sake, make it symmetric!
Typhoon: Add +2 turret and +2 launcher hardpoints if you want to keep that s**** mixed weapon system bonus ... otherwise make the bonus only for one weapon system!

Fly the domi before you talk such garbage. The domi is fine as it is. You realy would hurt her with that. It would at very least kill her as mission ship. And making her a e-war ship would make her an instant primary like the scorp. Thank you very much.

The 5% shield resist bonus on the eagle is a joke. Sure its "in line" with all the rail boat bonus's, but it just doesnt work on this hac.
To fit it for effective sniping, u must sacrifice all tank for lock range and gun range. Since you have no tank, not even a buffer, the bonus does jack all.
Change to 5% rof bonus or tracking bonus  |

Give typhoon:
2+ Turret hardpoints 2+ Missile hardpoints (or just 2+ Missile hardpoints, or even 1+ of each, just give us more options!)
Give the Naglfar:
2+ Turret hardpoints 2+ Missile hardpoints
(I.e It would have 5 highslots, with 4 Missile/Turret hardpoints, so you can actually train for one weapon system instead of two. Siege module fits into last highslot so its not OP, and I think trying to ditch the siege module for stationhuggin is not viable, but i havent checked.)

Hyperion: Get rid of the Armor tanking bonus, replace with 10% falloff Bonus.
This immediately fixes the hyps deficiencies at long and short range without intruding on the megas territory. The Mega is the finesse fighter, while the hyp becomes able to reach out.
Rokh:
Replace Shield boost bonus with Mining laser amount bonus from the osprey...

the active hype rep bonus for instance, its not good in a fleet fight ofc, but in small/medium gangs it will tank you longer than youre buffer ship lasts (not to mention its the only ship i ever am going to use dual centus a reppers on in pvp, hello 4.5k+ dps tank ), same with the rokh... and both are incredible good 1 vs 1 or 1 vs more ships. and yes the domi has enough grid for large guns (electrons) + tank without powergrid rigs or fitting mods.... |

Because being a blaster boat probably means you will be in 10KM range which is scram range which means bye bye MWD. Therefore that bonus is not viable within 10KM. Even without the bonus I would still put on a MWD to close the distance. But it would be nicer to have a tracking or RoF bonus.

#1 He said WMD, Weapons of Mass Destruction, not MWD, Microwarpdrive. Of course, the thorax doesn't have a WMD bonus and if it did the only real WMDs in the game are bombs and Doomsday Devices and I don't think people would want to have either on a thorax.
Well, maybe smartbombs can count as WMDs. Maybe have the thorax's "WMD" bonus be a 10%/level boost to the radius (or diameter I suppose) of smartbomb explosions?
#2 The MWD bonus on the thorax is good for one thing within the 10km range. With the right MWD you'll have more cap to lose than a thorax without a bonus/MWD would. But not much extra cap.  |

All Blockade Runner's active tanking bonuses are completely not used in any fits I have seen. They all need to be replaced with a velocity or agility bonus. |

I'd keep the active tanking bonus, if they could fit a gun alongside the cloak. Force Recon Hauler FTW!
Anyways, there are a lot of bonuses mentioned in this thread which are actually just fine and dandy. Let's just hope t3 will bring us the ability to somewhat choose from bonuses when building ships, and be done with it. |
