could you give me some tips on how to do that? i lost 2 claws to taranis inties so far and every time i was only about 1/2 to 2/3 through their armour.
i mean, im hearing all these things, yet i remain clueless. how do u go 5-6km/s in a claw with ONE mwd, without overdrives, tanked to 1300 armour? how do u take out a taranis - an inty that can melt a [non-tanked] rupture in about 30 seconds - with a claw? FILL ME IN PLEASE and end my pain

thats exactly what u do, and id know that cuz ive used the incursus a lot in pvp. and im training for a taranis as we speak... out of curiosity. and to fit in.

1300 armor ONLY if you're either adding up armor and structure (and maybe even shields) and then only if you're completely nerfing your offensive capabilities (using ions or possibly even electrons, with nothing in the 4th high slot).

tech 2 mwd gets about 3750?
Considering you are going 5km a sec... thats what 3 ods? Have any low slots for armor? Or are you using a mwd+ab w/o a webby or a scram...

I have only lost one Taranis vs Taranis fight in my inty career. The other mofo was using 150mm rails and i didn't reactivate my mwd in time thinking he would be coming close anyway.
Every Taranis that had neutrons fitted lost.
Even the DoT math shows you ions are better.

Most inties fly at 3.5km/s - 4.2km/s depending on skills modules and gang.
MWD II + Acceleration Control 5 + Navigation 5 make my Taranis go 3.9km/s (unganged).
1300 armor and 5km/s??! all i have to say is.

Most inties fly at 3.5km/s - 4.2km/s depending on skills modules and gang.

My claw has over a 1000 ARMOUR (and no he was not adding structure) however it only goes 4km/s. I have Nav 5 and all other Nav related skills to 4. I think Id struggle to go any faster without gimping my set up.
And yes I assure you I still have firepower in all 4 highslots. Why would you think he would use Ions on a claw ??
I dont know what Shens is Ronyo but dont dismiss people before researching stuff.
I do have admit though that only having 2 midslots makes solo dogfighting pretty frustrating unless you drop the mwd
