The mechanics say that only POSes that have been in place for at least seven days count toward sov. You'll note that in this case, all of the POSes BoB had stayed in place when BoB disolved, and were still in place when KenZoku formed, and all were still set to claim ssov. Thus every single POS they had met the seven-day-old requirement instantly, and sov was claimed during DT with no additional delay. This almost never happens, and really it can only happen when corps leave an alliance (for whatever reason) and join another alliance. Which brings up an interesting point: a corp that is single-handedly claiming sov for an alliance (or has a majority of the sov-claiming POSes) can deliberately leave that alliance and join a competing alliance, flipping sov from one alliance to the other (albeit at level 1) in a single day.

Like less than selling two PLEX carsds (last price quote in Jita: 328mil per card). 500 mil is PEANUTS, when any n00b can sell a GTC or two PLEX cards and get more. Get some sense of scale - now if the heist had been in the billions, THEN it'd be worth mentioining. As it is, Goonfleet failed.

Keep in mind though that those towers have to be refuled every 2~3 weeks maximum,and there are literally hundreds to fuel up between all those systems. With hostiles in the area and the ability for said hostiles to jump in capital ships since there's no cyno jammers protecting the region,and there's also valuable capital shipyards to protect,i suspect that Kenzoku members are going to be pushed to the very limit of what's possible if they want to keep control of delve,but time will tell.

Why yes there is. Obama, liberalism, democrats, bail out, mortgage industry, BoB. Shall I keep going on with descriptions of fail?
