So a kid that would normally just write on myspace instead posts it in video form on youtube... am I missing something here? I know there's a lot of people that will stare at anything they consider to be a pretty face, but that girl seems as dumb as a stump.

Ok, let me just make a few qualifiers here;
1) I am an adult. IE: Between 30 and 40, with 2 kids.
2) Both my kids are on the Autism spectrum.
Now that's out of the way, let me just say that what I have seen of "boxxy" has led me to believe that she has either Asperger's Syndrome, or is otherwise on the Autism spectrum. One of the giveaways is the "waving hands" thing she does occasionally when she's excited. My own daughter does the EXACT SAME THING. While it is, of course, possible to imitate the behavioral tics of Autism spectrum people, I seriously doubt that anyone her age has the competency to pull off such an act with the smoothness and regularity that she does.
No doubt, she's on the spectrum. I hope she's getting therapy.

First off, do we really know how old she is. Secondly, you severely underestimate the capabilities of some of today's youth. Remember she only lets you see what she wants you to see.

2. Well. Kids can be pretty good actors. But given how this whole thing developed I don't think she's a troll. Her videos were unnoticed and untouched for 6 months before /b/ descended. It's pretty much just an example of /b/ collapsing in on itself like the troll equivalent of a black hole. Boxxy wasn't the cause, just the catalyst. |

I have no idea what is worse.
