Dau Imperius Amarr	Posted - 2009.02.09 19:40:00 - [31] Yeah I have aspergers mate. I never ever, acted like that when I was 12. (I'm 30 myself and only just realised that I was different, and not everyone else, at age 24.) I was much too into my books and playing with toys and video games, let alone the fact I rarely talked to anything. Of course I only had a basic DOS 3.0 computer at that age, with no internet, so who knows what I may have done...but I doubt I'd get a camera and talk so much. Most of my thoughts are in my head and only go to paper/writing. The reason I use hand gestures so much is because I literally describe things to others from what I form in my head. That and to accentuate what I'm saying. Luckily I have meds now which allow me to function way better with other people around; but I'd only act like this kid if I were on the ***, to be honest. Then again the thing about us aspies (as I understand) is that we're all different in our specific intertests and tend to be very good at them. Perhaps hers is talking to a computer camera and acting out. There is no 'audience' that she sees, so it's not out of the comfort zone we have. But anyways. Cute kid, shame I'm not younger. sigh* Wonder if her mum is single...
