Did anyone else see an ad for Twilight, and think "oh hey, vampires. I like vampires." Then download it and watch it, and proceed to hate yourself for it afterwards?
It kind of feels like what I would imagine getting drunk and sleeping with a girl, who you swore was a girl when you went to bed but when you woke up found a surprise... Would feel like.
(Not that the latter has happened to be, but I did download Twilight... *Sigh*)

I saw it, pretty much like any other vampire movie. Gay and silly.... Zombies are the money movie monster.
Now let's talk about waking up with trannies.

it was... hm... shallow, but then again, it was just the first... have to say that it has... potential.
also it was more of a girl-ish type of movie. hell when I went to see it, I was the only guy in the room.

Dude totally, I was at a bar one time and was talking to this chick. We got along pretty well and the night was early so I invited her to a house party I knew about up in the Hollywood hills. She agreed so I asked her to follow me. She then offered to come with me in my car stating "I can just come get it later, or in the morning." Jackpot, I thought. This one was in the bag.
We went to the party and she excused herself to go to the bathroom while I picked up a couple of drinks. Maker's Mark for me and dirty martini for the lady. We went outside and shared a smoke on the terrace while we sipped our drinks. I was holding her close to me using the cool night air as a bargaining chip when she looked down (she was taller than me) and started kissing me. It was a great kiss but I noticed something poking me in my hip. I looked away to see what it was and all of a sudden a tranny jumped out from behind a lounge chair and hit me in the face with it's dong.
So yeah, you can never trust a tranny. |

The previews pretty much spelled out how the movie was going to be.
1. Teenage looking vampire lusted after by every girl at his high school.
2. Teenage girl catches teenage looking vampires eye.
3. Throw in weak storyline to fill in time.
4. Profit.
These days 95% of all stories, movies, showes, etc related to the undead concept are nothing more than highschool quality crap. We need another Blade saga, at the very least to mix things up again. |

Don't feel bad though. If you didn't like the movie you are probably not in the target demographic. Materialistic, empty-headed teenage girls can have their drivel. The Watchmen is coming out soon so I need to stock up on lotion and parachute pants.

Yeah, well in the previews there was at least some pulse pounding action. Vampires chasing others, hunting people, and cool **** like that. But then you get watch it and it's like "OMG HE IS SO CUTE" and there is maybe 5 minutes of violence supported by a weak story. Ghey.

The books in this series (that the film is based on) have been absolutely hammered for their portrayal of women. Only good bit of this film that I have seen is the song by Paramore on MTV that features clips from it

I decided to watch it because I like films like underworld etc.
Can honestly say I have never yawned so much through a film in my life. If the story was any slower, they would be moving backwards. The only excitement in the whole film came right at the end with the fight scene. If it hadn't been for the fact that I had nothing else to watch, I would never have got that far it was totally boring.

The problem with how vampirism is treated in most mainstream stories these days is that many lousy writers downplay or remove the negative aspects of the concept to the point that its barely reconizable from the orignal concept. Its sad really, if half these idiots actually stuck to the lore many of these movies and books might be digestable.
