I'm glad someone is finally addressing the issue of how overpowered stations are. Seriously though I agree with the OP...there are a ton of "hassle timers" in game that have become critical in many pvp situations but had no such original purpose ...

The only reason people use carriers more than freighters for moving cargo is because CCP hasn't solved the logonski/logoffski tactic. Early-Mid '06 the use of freighters disappeared for any 0.0 alliance not living on the border out of fear that 10...

of course those numbers are entirely theoretical...but this, to me, is the reason why the myrmidon should not be the only ship to be nerfed... with the new bandwidth the harb, hurricane, and myrmidon will be very balanced...and the drake will tan...
