1. Is 733 kb/sec download speed good /? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If I remember correctly, all Virgin Media 4MB subscribers are now 10MB, and all 10MB subscribers are supposed to be 20MB. And all 20MB subscribers are supposed to be 50MB? I download at 1,200kB/s on the 10MB package...

Adblock plus does exactly the same thing, just scan through the blockable items list and find .swf's Usually flash objects have adblock tabs hooked to them anyway though.

Well I blocked the Trinity flash animation at the top of the page and my problems have gone away, so yes it is a problem with Adobe Flash Player.

It's funny really, it only happens if I'm using the hyper link on the Eve main page. If I copy the URL, go to another website then just use the URL it loads instantly with no lockup.

I appreciate the bump, unfortunately you're probably going to get a forum ban now. Back to OP, my browser seems to freeze up when the main page transitions to the forums, not when it's retrieving the forum information, if that makes any sense.

Can anyone tell me why my entire web browser locks up for approximately 5-10 seconds when I try to navigate to the Forums from the left hyperlink bar on the Eve-online main page? Using Mozilla Firefox v2.0.0.11 and it does exactly the same thing ...
