Another solution is to maybe start pre-emptive loading on approach to the jumpgate.. not sure how that would lag up playing on the beginning side of the jumpgate, but it would improve the in-between jump times. Edited by: Alvarrez on 09/06/2003...

One very easy way to implement a fix for most of these problems is through a minor client-side modification. Have the client send a signal to the server once the sector that was just entered has been loaded, and THEN have the ship visible to other...

I have to say that pirate corporations really need to be careful with who they pray upon. My corporation recently had a "run-in" with Red Corsairs (not Red Bone Corsairs). They took out one of our newer members in a Reaper and proceeded to fire up...

Our corporation just acquired one yesterday.. the real interesting statistic is that not only does it mine faster than a Miner 1, it requires less CPU as well (48). Which means with Electronics 4, you can put 3 of those on a Punisher for heavy dut...
