not a good argument, it would be a good reason to join a corp, instead of becoming a freelancer. Just exclude all freelancers from paying is not a valid option I think. Back to paying when docking, why not pay fees everytime you dock? Large fees ...

Why would you have to pay for extra insurance, or provide security yourself? Just create collaterals like the normal courier missions. You pay for the transfer, and it seems fairly reasonable to me that your responsibility for the goods ends there...

I simply agree, you don't identify a ship by its captain or commander, though the need for a scanner may be a little too much to find out who the ship belongs to.

Why not divide indies up in two categories: Mining indies: -not as big as real haulers -better mining equipment which matches frigates at lower levels and cruisers at higher levels -very slow, because mining vessels aren't really supposed to move...
