Yea I was fighting the Amarr and they were shooting this red wavy beam at me. Maybe that was draining it.

3. How do I know what type of damage I'm taking? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
When enemies are shooting me, is there a way to know what type of damage they are doing? I have a thermal and EM armor hardener, but I don't know if i should turn them on when they are shooting missiles.
