If I remember correctly, lag starts already when you travel with a fleet of 250ppl (individual at max speed + warp to 0 or instas) (that was 2007 or so)

this is more for server side lag as bad fps can be checked on live fights or with spawned stuff Dominion removed AOE dd which leads to blobs again = more players on grid = more server load testing fleets is also a bit to general and may be split...
