61. Duel Incursus - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Florio on 15/03/2010 09:40:14 you will lose if you allow the fight to become close range. you may win if you maintain distance. Use transversal (+ tracking disrupt perhaps) to mitigate damage.

62. Pvp in cruisers vs other cruisers - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Arbitrator or rupture. Within the confines of cruiser duals especially, the best fit I reckon is an afterburner passive tanked 1600 plate arbitrator with 2 small lasers and missiles with two tracking disruptors. Your drones can deal with kiters. ...

63. Hurricane or Myrmidon - which is the better solo PVP ship? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Florio on 11/01/2010 11:06:58 I'd climb into a Myrmidon to take out a Hurricane any day: the Myrm has enough dps to take down the Cane before the Myrm runs out of cap booster charges. But for general usage I prefer the Hurricane pr...

65. what frig is best suited vs a rifter? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
for close range the classic bleeder punisher fit can beat a rifter. or just kite it with a standard missile mwd breacher or standard missile mwd kestrel. disclaimer: mileage will vary with pilot skill, ammo type, luck (for nos/neut cycles for in...

Edited by: Florio on 03/12/2009 09:42:17 mapc, 4 standard launchers, mwd, cap recharging/boosting modules. for 1v1 you will want one mid to be a warp disruptor and probably have a cap booster. someone with that fit in my corp just beat a rif...

71. 17 Minmatar Solo Setups for most classes - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Stabbers that need to come so close to scram range die horribly. And if you do intend/need to get that close shouldn't you have a scram, especially as you're only going to be able to kill frigates (solo). You really need ambits imho. Dunno what th...

72. Another player in need of advice (PvP) Minmatar vs Gallente - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
You may want to ignore cruiser V for a while and get battlecruiser skill to V instead. Firstly, and quickly, you would be able to fly the hurricane, cyclone and projectile myrm, then when you get medium hybrid V you'll be able to fly the ferox an...

74. Best throw-a-way pvp ship and fit? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
vexor probably if you're looking for versatility, given its drones and choice of tank or gank or nano fits. rupture comes close but for 0.0 work when you need to get out of bubbles whilst maintaining dps on target i'd prefer a vexor.

Edited by: Florio on 23/11/2009 13:26:12 naa, i've flown these quite a bit, you need at least 2 ambit rigs otherwise you're too close to scram range - i guess dominion will screw the stabber with the stacking nerf then. i would also always fi...

76. Training stabber fit - Viable? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Stabber is completely different ship from Rupture. Rupture is great, but will die repeatedly to superior firepower unless you're using a specialised station-camping deaggressing dual-rep fit or something like that. If you can fly a Stabber well i...
