At very minimum, you'll need Industry Level 1. If the BP requires more skills, it will say so. Note that skills such as Production Efficiency can help a lot :)

Guns only shoot at what they're assigned. They don't split fire. If you want to change targets, deactivate the gun, click the new target, activate gun.
