1981. CCP, you just cant get it straigt, can you? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Mai, I would ask you what harakiri means, but then I remembered some of my own advice. "Those that want to understand what anyone, no matter how obscure the source, has got to say, will find out of their own accord inevitably. Those that do not,...

1982. A solution to all this crying from the pirates... - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Edited by: Lygos on 10/01/2005 07:50:20 I don't like to think of it as killing. Rather, I tend to think of it as improving. I am a social creature at heart, and believe in furthering the common Good. Not everything merits improvement though...

1983. Corporation Bookmarks ( good for both sides ) - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Actuallym the trend has become for it to be more difficult to manage bookmarks. Can't mail them, can't copy them in space etcetera. I think as much as possible, ccp has done everything except what is necessary to diminish and restrict bookmark abu...

1984. Risky Business.... - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Hah. That's cute. 0.4 accounts for more deaths than can be recorded in 0.0 by a long shot. All the same, I don't think this idea would have a positive effect on the game. Although it would demolish gate ganking of highways, which is probably a po...

1985. Cerebral Scanner - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Lygos on 10/01/2005 07:01:39 I think in general it is pretty easy to make an educated guess on the subject. Set the ransom you want, but if you debate the price too long, most of us will have long since hit the self-destruct button ...

1986. CCP, you just cant get it straigt, can you? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I for one don't feel that everything I have should be protected all the time. It is more interesting to have to defend ones gains, ill-gotten or not. Simply having paid a fee to have more SP that another character is not quite as interesting as b...

1987. A solution to all this crying from the pirates... - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Indeed, you can cause some damage to foolhardy gate denizens if you have the right equipment. Opportunism not-withstanding though, casual incentive based mechanics are constantly working against this. The pressure toward instalocking and instajum...

Edited by: Lygos on 10/01/2005 00:07:12 By all means, if there are to be some haves and some have nots, is it not Just that the have nots should have some means to revolt against the haves? Should they not be able to ply themselves against a ...

1989. CCP, you just cant get it straigt, can you? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Noticing a couple laughably crude threads on sp balancing and redistribution in this forum, I'm surprised no pirate has glumly lamented recently (or ever?) the inability to salvage sp from non-insertable, captured implants. I doubt anyone, but me...

1990. A solution to all this crying from the pirates... - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Instas and instalocking setups need to go. However, before that can happen, we'll need to see more incentives in place to encourage people, even pirates, to put their possessions at risk. Instas won't matter if there are no more safespots afterall...

1991. Anyone else getting mail-bombed by their agents? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I wish I could turn them off. The same for storyline missions. I've got a screen full of agents of "interest." Also, the expired missions stay in your journal forever. It's rather vexing. I don't really care to visit the agent to have them erase...

1992. Hacking skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I have to reiterate that channel hacking is an extremely ill-considered desire. As it is when continue to lack even a fundamental feature such as a system message that says, "Player X has invited Player X to channel." Channel hacking is a huge co...

Edited by: Lygos on 07/01/2005 08:07:47 I may be misunderstanding your question, but you can still store up to 10 station containers in a station vault, or 100 in a warehouse. I personally like zero clutter, so I make regular use of these sort...
