I tried the MTGO beta when it was new. Its a bit.. odd, as half the appeal to me in magic is the face-to-face social dynamics, bluffing, eye-popping moments, etc. That, and actually physically touching the cards is something that can't be reproduc...

Its possible, but not easy. You'll need two soundcards, and manually set which sound events will be rendered on which. programs like vent/ts are easy to do this on, but you're going to have to really dig to change which card the os/browser/mp play...
