381. [REV] Solo Stabber ganking - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Change nanofiber for second istab for more speed AND maneuverability. I'm using basically that, only no t2, and now I'm using 2 local hull inerts and a local hull overdrive in the lows. Proceed to act like an interceptor on boosters.

384. PIRATE QUESTIONS - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Pirating in the starting ship is a bad idea. I tried to do it once purely as a laugh. An iteron PASSIVELY TANKED me. That hurt my ego, so I now stick to ships that can actually do >10 dps Condor isn't really much better either, anything with ...

385. Pirate Weapons and Randsoming Questions - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Whichever weapons your ship gets bonuses to. And nos. Nos is good, it makes people unable to tank (and in some cases stops them shooting). When ransoming, I prefer to wait until target is in structure, and preferably capped out. Then start a co...

Cap booster just not needed. You could probably get away with active hardeners though, they dont use much cap.

387. Gas Harvesting and Booster Production? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Vale of the Silent has a few agents. I was planning on actually going for the clouds, once my ever-useful probing friend stops being a lazy goit about logging on when I'm awake. To the person who asks why you would use them: They make you GOD. ...

388. long and short range - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I've seen many, many people fit both long and shortrange. I've yet to see one of them ever win a fight in those setups. They simply suck. As said though, long range combo'd with a short range works. Like sniper/tackler, missile user/tackler, or ...

389. please give us a counter - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Understand how probes work before you whine about them. As said before, they're chance based, don't see cloaks, are fubared if you move 5au away, show up on scanner, and it's INCREDIBLY hard to catch someone who logs without aggresion. You basical...

Edited by: Marcathonas on 18/12/2006 18:45:42 You forgot the cap injector. I saw a nanophoon hit 6k/s the day after revelations. We jumped our roaming gang into a hostile system, I warped to the typhoon (he was like 10k off one of my sniper s...

391. Rig Stack penalty - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Yes, yes there is. It says it will be penalized in the description. It's the freaking STAT that's got the penalty, not the mod. So damage mods and rigs have stacking penalties.

393. Which rigs have stacking penalties? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Last I checked it was the stat that was penalized, not the rig itself. Which would mean modules and rigs cause the stacking penalty with each other. Which is why tracking comps and enhancers have a stacking penalty. Different module, same stats.

I'll agree, it's fine normally. Now you try putting 120+ players in the same grid, within 100k of each other. Now, watch them shoot each other. And watch your FPS slowly drop. I don't think anyone got above 1fps earlier, a lot of people froze u...
